As a Cloud & Digital Workplace Analyst, you will provide first-line support for virtual servers and Microsoft Azure environments. You will be responsible for performing daily operational tasks, monitoring systems, handling basic service requests, and performing routine changes across both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This includes basic support for VMware virtualization platforms, backup jobs, and networking components. You will escalate complex issues as needed while gaining hands-on experience across hybrid IT environments. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT infrastructure career looking to develop practical skills in cloud and infrastructure operations. The Person You are proactive, customer-focused, and eager to learn. You possess a strong foundational understanding of server and Azure Technology and are comfortable following standard operating procedures. You work well in a team environment and are committed to providing timely support and accurate documentation. Accountabilities Primarily related to on-prem server support, routine user/system operations, and hybrid infrastructure: Monitor server environment health using tools like LogicMonitor. Log and triage incidents and service requests. Perform basic troubleshooting of server issues (e.g., CPU usage, Memory usage, Disk space, VM availability, backup status). Handle common service requests (e.g., password resets, access requests). Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 2 or Level 3 teams. Support patching for Windows OS and backup (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar) verification tasks under guidance. Follow change management processes for standard changes/emergency changes. Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update knowledge base where needed. Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers. 2. Public Cloud Focused on Azure-specific monitoring, troubleshooting, and governance tasks: Monitor Azure environment health using tools like Azure Monitor. Perform basic troubleshooting of Azure issues (e.g., CPU usage, VM availability, backup status). Support patching and backup verification tasks under guidance. Follow change management processes for standard changes/emergency changes. Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update knowledge base where needed. Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers. Your Experience 0–2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles. Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Azure portal, and Active Directory. Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems. Understanding of patching, backups (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar), and system monitoring. Willingness to learn scripting and automation (PowerShell/Azure CLI). Good communication and customer service skills. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AZ-900, AZ-104, ITIL Foundation, VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Endpoint Administrator (MD-102), Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals (MS-900)) are a plus.

Proven experience working on data-driven platforms and business intelligence tools (Power BI, SQL, Python).

Hands-on experience with data integration , ETL tools , and metadata/catalog systems (Talend, DAMA DMBOK framework familiarity is a plus).

Strong command of SQL/MySQL , data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets), and experience with data transformation and validation .

Experience working in cross-functional teams and with government agencies or enterprise clients is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.

Familiarity with data privacy regulations and data sharing frameworks .

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing data solutions, translating business needs into technical specifications, and ensuring system integrity, usability, and quality. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and document system and data requirements. Conduct detailed analysis of existing data structures and propose data modeling solutions to enhance data integration and sharing. Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of data management and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI dashboards, metadata catalog systems). Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including system specifications, data dictionaries, process flows, and user manuals. Facilitate and lead user workshops, system trainings, and acceptance testing sessions. Provide support for data quality initiatives including profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation. Troubleshoot data and system issues and implement appropriate fixes or improvements. Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and vendors to ensure smooth implementation and integration of systems. Monitor and maintain system performance, addressing discrepancies and recommending enhancements. Support change management, digital transformation, and training initiatives across departments. Stay current with best practices in data governance, analytics, and system architecture. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Computer Science ,

Information Systems ,

Data Science , or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in a

system analyst, data analyst , or

data management specialist

role. Proven experience working on

data-driven platforms

and

business intelligence tools

(Power BI, SQL, Python). Hands-on experience with

data integration ,

ETL tools , and

metadata/catalog systems

(Talend, DAMA DMBOK framework familiarity is a plus). Strong command of

SQL/MySQL , data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets), and experience with

data transformation and validation . Experience working in

cross-functional teams

and with government agencies or enterprise clients is a strong advantage. Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification. Experience working on

fraud detection, financial systems , or

public sector digital transformation

initiatives. Familiarity with

data privacy regulations

and

data sharing frameworks . Experience with

user training, SOP documentation , and
