Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess SPM or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in laboratory cleaning / janitorial work / housekeeping, or a related field is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of cleaning protocols and use of cleaning equipment is preferred
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning task efficiently

• Perform daily cleaning of office and laboratory areas.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing and ironing
• Monitor and track cleaning supplies and notify the officer-in-charge when restocking is needed
• Ensure rubbish bins are emptied daily and refuse areas are kept clean and sanitary
• Assist in cleaning and preparing vessels for media preparation when required

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist and support operation monitoring of Linen & Laundry Services (LLS) at 33 Hospital Support Services (HSS) and Hospital Cyberjaya (HCJ) ensuring contractual compliance.
• Monitor and support implementation of Asset System Information Services (ASIS) and data entry for LLS.
• Coordinate and collaborate with regional hygiene teams to implement LLS activities according to approved programs/plans.
• Organise staff competency training in LLS per company requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations Excellence Department for data analysis on projects related to cost optimisation and linen inventory management.
• Analyse overtime for all LLS Supervisors/Porters at northern region hospitals.

• As Service Attendant-Laundry, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually, accurately, professionally, and courteously.

• Collect laundry and dry cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensure that guest name, room number, and laundry pieces are listed.

• Count and verify all items collected as per laundry price lists/laundry sheets signed by the guest and note down any discrepancies or damages on the same sheet.

• Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.

• Responsible for processing the guest’s clothing on the correct equipment/machines using the appropriate chemicals and temperature.

• As Service Attendant-Laundry, weexpectfrom you:

• Minimum SPM qualification, preferably with credits in English.
