Department Overview PCM is a global organization supporting all products and technologies within MSI. We are responsible for all item and BOM content validation, creation, processing and maintenance within PLM, EBS and order management systems including attribute conditioning, OMAR R12 configurator programming, COF, Tech Edit, and Cloud CPQ. We are the global ECCN classification owner and support, supplier set up, master data, workflow.and IT related area support.The role is in the NPI (New Product Introduction) team responsible for setting up new products in MSI ordering systems. The NPI team is also responsible for D1 ship acceptance which enables products to be shipped from factories and the distribution centers to customers.

Job Description
Responsible for delivery of Environmental Data (RoHS, CMM, Conflict Minerals) for MSI suppliers and managing PLM Agile and EG&C (Environmental Governance & Compliance)
Work with multiple suppliers to gather environmental data declarations and translate them into specifications and regulation compliance in the system.
Responsible for providing education and helpdesk support to Suppliers for Material declaration and Interpretation of W18 Specifications and Regulations.
Responsible for tracking and reporting environmental data declaration activities.
Responsible for following up with Suppliers for Quality and Responsiveness of Material
Declaration. (You may be required to work off office hours when dealing with overseas suppliers.) - If necessary, escalation will be done through BU Sourcing (CM).
Responsible for maintaining Motorola EDM databases.
Review W18 submissions before releasing them into the production database.
The audit findings must be communicated to improve and sustain the EDM Data Quality (Knowledge sharing).
Provide guidance and training to suppliers and coordinate compliance data with various functional teams within MSI.

Basic Requirements
Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or any related field.
Advanced Chemistry knowledge with a background in Chemical studies.
The capability of reading, analyzing, and understanding the chemical Hazardous Material related to ROHS compliance and specification.
Ability to work with details and develop a high level of accuracy.
Competency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) would be an advantage.
Systematic, people orientated, and work with minimum supervision; capability to perform root cause analysis and risk prevention for false information.
Able to communicate well in English both in verbal and written.
Be able to work odd hours when required.
Similar working experience is a plus.

• Maintain high standards of application lab management, including good housekeeping, inventory control, equipment calibration and maintenance, and waste management.
• Develop procedures, test requirements, product specifications, and testing methods for related paint and construction products.
• Plan and organize activities in compliance with AIMS and company HSEQ policies. Perform risk assessments and ensure all operations meet HSE standards.
• Ensure personal and team safety, cooperate with supervisors, wear protective equipment, and comply with health and safety regulations under Section 24 OSHA 1994. Responsibilities include:
• Degree in Chemistry or related Science discipline with 5-8 years of laboratory experience in the industry.
• Experience in paint and coatings, inks, or construction chemicals.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

- As an experienced process engineer, you will be given the opportunity to solve challenging problems across process safety, reliability, profitability, and sustainability.
- You will leverage a strong technology foundation and provide a global fleet ExxonMobil perspective into your work products
- You will also identify new opportunities and technologies to innovate while improving process efficiency.
- You will have opportunities to interact with peers in refining, derivative chemical units and polymer units
- Apply personnel and process safety principles in manufacturing facilities across the globe
- Using fundamental chemical engineering principles, work with others to provide design knowledge for steam crackers
- As required, participate in troubleshooting and development teams with other professionals to address complex technical issues
- Apply fundamentals to assist sites in advanced troubleshooting and deployment of new technologies
- Apply risk management for new designs, projects, and technologies
- Train/mentor less experienced engineers in relevant skills
- Assist operating sites with unit start-up, troubleshooting and performance evaluations
- Proactively engage with various global interfaces in ExxonMobil to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions to drive business value
- Interface with key 3rd party vendors and suppliers
- Some domestic and international travel to other sites within the ExxonMobil fleet
- Lead deployment of fleet initiatives across ExxonMobil’s facilities for profit margin improvement, energy and OPEX efficiencies
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably 5-10 years (or more) of experience working in an olefins plant, refinery or similar

What role you will play in the team- As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be part of our exciting and rapidly expanding Kuala Lumpur Process Safety team, working with our various business lines, collaborating with our community of Process Safety discipline experts and senior technical professionals around the world to deliver engineering excellence.
- You will provide engineering leadership in various aspects of Process Safety to our business divisions, with a mission towards providing engineering and risk management solutions for ExxonMobil’s operating facilities around the world, to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- You will be equipped with the required skills and knowledge, and thereby also expected to be able to work across geographic boundaries, and leverage on the strength and experience of others within our organization, to ensure that we deliver maximum value to our business line partners.
- This position is not limited to Malaysian applicants only.
- The position involves delivering at the highest technical quality assurance level, engineering solutions to manage our most concerning risk scenarios.
- You are expected to utilize your competencies in explosion effects analysis and facility siting, pressure relief/disposal system adequacy, consequence analysis, dispersion modeling, fire protection, hazard identification (e.g. HAZOP or similar), risk analysis (LOPA, Event Tree Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Availability Target setting), as well as safety in design and management of change evaluations.
- Collaborate and engage with risk owners within the business lines, and partner with the relevant stakeholders to arrive at effective risk management decisions regarding process safety concerns at their facilities.
- Lead and implement ExxonMobil and industry safety in design standards and requirements in change reviews at existing production facilities and greenfield/brownfield projects, to manage process safety concerns in areas such as equipment overpressure, over-temperature scenarios, reaction hazards & defining preventive and mitigative safeguards for Major Accident scenarios.
- Specific deliverables may also include:
• Lead Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies and executing other project deliverables.
• Develop and execute quantitative and qualitative risk screenings and assessments.
• Develop Consequence Modelling using PHAST and other applicable industry methods.
• Conduct Vapour Cloud Explosion Consequence and Risk analysis.
• Defining fire protection design requirements for different equipment types including Fire & Gas Mapping and reviewing new fire protection system designs.
• Provide capital project engineering support including development and deployment of Project Risk Assessment and Management Plans (RAMP) which may include completing various loss prevention and process safety deliverables throughout the project’s timeline.
- Develop and champion team’s capability development plans and strategy, to effectively deliver on process safety and risk management business needs across multiple business lines.
- This role would require that you be able to work during non-standard office work hours, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across different time zones, to deliver on the above range of activities.
- You are expected to be reasonably mobile in this job role and be available to travel to other ExxonMobil/third-party owned facilities around the world as needed to facilitate and complete the necessary tasks and reviews.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related Petroleum Engineering field.
- Minimum of total 8 years relevant working experience in petrochemical, oil and gas industry in Technical, Operations, Process Design, or Engineering functions.
- At least 3 years of work experience in specific Process Safety Engineering job roles.
- Demonstrated competency and experience in the following areas:
• Hazard identification, risk analyses and assessment methodologies (e.g. Hazard Identification (HAZID), Inherent SHE Review, PHAs)
• Knowledgeable in industry codes, standards and practices relevant to process design and safety (e.g. ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI, IEC etc.) and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP)
• Risk scenario development techniques, including various methods of risk analysis.
• Good working knowledge of engineering software tools such as PHAST, PHA-Pro, Hysys, Flarenet, FlareSim, Pipenet/AFT is an advantage.
- Prior experience of working within a manufacturing/production facility is preferred.

- Business development, retain and grow existing customer base and develop new business for the region with the incorporation of marketing activities.
- Consistently meet or exceed established sales targets/goals.
- Convert prospects to generate sales /business for region growth.
- Maintain customer/prospect relationships via personal visits, email, phone correspondence, and other manners of contact such as professional organizations, social media sites etc.
- Ensure proper documentation like technical data and share right information with customers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, R&D, and Regulatory organizations to successfully deliver business plan targets.
- Monitor markets and competition by collecting various product, pricing and relevant information.
- Report progress, metrics and analyses to management on sales and other activities at regular intervals.
- Develop and maintain high level proficiency in navigating and using all company software.
- Plans / support / co-ordinates advertising and promotional activities, including print, online, electronic media and direct mail within sales territory.
- Attend and actively participate in all required meetings. Represent company at trade shows to promote product.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and meet the deadlines.

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma and/or a Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 5 years of related experience in Business Development. Candidates with B2B and Regional Sales Experience (for ASEAN countries).
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external associates at all levels.
- Personal care, home care, Food &Pharma based experience will be preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
- Capacity to exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
- High competency level in all forms of computer literacy including, but not limited to, email use, word processing, spreadsheet creation and manipulation, internet navigation, server access, database use etc.
- Capacity to learn internal software at levels that ensure successful and quick execution of all job task.

- Provide testing and on-site technical services management at customers' plants
- Check chemical dosing and routine monitoring of chemical performance
- Conduct routine dosing equipment servicing and maintenance out in the field
- Maintain housekeeping at allocated areas within customer premises
- Conduct site survey and obtain samples for laboratory analysis
- Able to speak and communicate in Mandarin
- Technical Diploma/Degree in Science or chemical qualifications
- Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided
- Minimum 1-2 years in providing on-site service works in the field of pulp & paper mill
- Good understanding of plant equipment and chemical treatment program applied
- Able to interact with customers and assist in enhancing customer satisfaction

• Conduct Vapour Cloud Explosion Consequence and Risk analysis.

- This role requires working during non-standard hours and being available to travel to other ExxonMobil facilities as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant working experience in the petrochemical, oil and gas industry.
- At least 3 years of work experience in specific Process Safety Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated competency in hazard identification and risk analysis methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in industry codes and standards relevant to process design and safety.
- Good working knowledge of engineering software tools such as PHAST, PHA-Pro, and others is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/production facility is preferred.
- Strong behavioral competencies including engineering curiosity, initiative, critical thinking, and strong communication skills.
