Role Purpose

You may be assigned as Level 2 AMS support between Business/Client IT Team, partnering systems, and the Application Managed Services (AMS) team. The Role

Job Description

As Associate Director, Technology Strategy and Planning, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee PMO and develop and implement technology strategies that align with the organization's business objectives.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of technology-related initiatives to ensure timely delivery and quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs through technology solutions.
  • Monitor emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the insurance industry.
  • Provide leadership in evaluating and selecting technology tools and platforms.
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize technology investments.
  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all technology initiatives.


The Successful Applicant

You Will Need To Have Experiences In

  • Experience within financial services sector and overseeing PMO work
  • Strong cross-functional teams and stakeholders management experiences
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform UAT (User Acceptance Test) and BRT (Business Readiness Test) of new product features before and after production cutover (UAT) respectively.
  • Work with Product Managers (PM) to develop UAT and BRT test plans for new product features on the mobile app and web interfaces.
  • Document and track issues found to ensure proper follow-up by respective product managers to resolve them.
  • Provide feedback to optimise user experience and performance of product features based on test results.
  • Support PM on user training and post launch issues or customer complains investigation.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Min. Diploma in IT related courses is highly preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a software product testing role.
  • Proficiency in both English andMandarin , as the role requires close collaboration with Chinese teams and vendors.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to details and data-driven decision making ability.
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to learn and listen, ability to work independently, and strong drive to get things done.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fast learner and ability to thrive in high stress environment.
