Management of the supplier implementation to ensure go-live and day-to-day operations quality management when supplier performance is not meeting to our MB expectations & specifications.
Transportation Planning Management:
· You will support the L5 manager in his role and you will be his deputy
· You will support the road forwarder contract management of the approx. 10 logistics centres in the Asia Pacific region; and work closely together with and under guidance of CoC colleagues in Germany, Spain and N-America.
- You support the spare part logistics transportation cost saving initiative in APAC with approx. 5-10 transportation tenders per year and other transport related projects (e.g. central program of reduction of variable costs) together with the team in Germany and other central departments (planning/strategy, purchase, sales).
- You make sure that transportation projects/tenders are managed on time and on target and drive the day-to-day decision-making.
- You support in the safeguarding of the overall project management in road transportation projects (project milestone quality gates, steering committees, working groups, alignment calls with the APAC logistics, escalation meetings with forwarders and the purchase department)
- You will support Transportation related queries and adhoc activities and requests, related to the transportation setup, strategy or required modifications in all the APAC LCs/RLC.
Supplier / Forwarder management :
- Support in the set-up & ramp-up of the GCSP global forwarder quality management system within the APAC region for road transportation including forwarder potential analysis (OSA-onsite assessments, preventive & reactive actions/ audits & forwarder development programs)
- Enable forwarder quality mgmt. in qualification programs (such as auditing, implementation of quality tools & the establishment of a standard quality approach)
- Drive lessons-learned and training initiatives to permanently improve the project quality, supplier performance and qualification of relevant stakeholders (own staff or other APAC operations)
- Support in optimizing the planning and purchasing processes and in the development of new methods to accelerate processes and make them more flexible
- Ensure implementation and day-to-day 2nd level escalation initiatives towards freight suppliers to ensure MB specifications
Education:
· Master or bachelor degree in business engineering, business, transportation, purchase or equivalent.
Experience:
· Min 3 years related working experience in Automotive business, corporate business
· Solid MS office background (Powerpoint, Excel, Word; BI)
· Data analyst skill (MS BI, Dashboard and Control Tower know-how)
- Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management
· Ability to work with different cultures, languages & mindsets.
· Relevant work experience as Project Manager, Purchaser, Consultant and/or logistics manager in demanding line functions.

· Auditor training (internal or external) e.g. VDA- or APQP-standard

Data Reporting
- Analyze operational and onboarding data to identify trends, gaps, and areas of improvement.
- Create detailed weekly and monthly performance reports to highlight progress, risks, and development areas.
- Develop dashboards that track Measurements such as activation timelines, support responsiveness, and funnel efficiency.
Process Optimization
- Review all existing processes in the driver support ecosystem, and propose updates based on current customer and driver behavior data.
- Develop streamlined processes that reduce friction, improve turnaround times, and increase activation rates.
- Lead proactive audits of existing workflows to ensure they are aligned with growth and efficiency goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with several stakeholders to identify operational bottlenecks and align on improved procedures.
- Promote communication between data, support, and field teams to ensure smooth execution of process changes.
- Help build a responsive driver support team through better workflows, tools, and communication structures.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and champion opportunities for automation or tool integration to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks.
- Establish documentation and collaboration with the Training Team for new process rollouts.
- Drive a culture of feedback and learning across support and operations teams.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have experience in process improvement, business operations, or a similar role.
- You have proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- You have experience creating operational reports and using data to inform decision-making.
- You have experience with workflow optimization and change management principles.
- You have 2 or more years of experience in rideshare, logistics, fleet management, or customer support operations
