Responsibilities
  • Prospect and visit Owners, Consultants and Contractors in the data center space to promote Products/Systems for piping and fittings applications
  • Pursue and obtain acceptance in specifications of Products/Systems by Owners, Consultants and Contractors
  • Promote Products in the territory through seminars, training, technical literature and onsite technical support

Demonstrate depth and breadth of technical knowledge to ensure technical solutions account for constructability as well as schedule and budgetary constraints.

Proactively provide Discipline Manager and Discipline Lead with updates regarding activity status, highlight concerns as they arise, and provide guidance to support Discipline Lead to stay within the allocated budget.

Challenge technical solutions to ensure all options have been considered and promote best approach.

Collaborate with Discipline Lead to propose or optimize methodology within the framework of project requirements.

Working experiences

Minimum 15 years working experience in structural engineering design and analysis calculation for strength, buckling, fatigue of steel structures.

Familiar with AISC Specification 1989 Edition, AISC 360-16-ASD, API RP2A-WSD and AWS D1.1M.

Familiar with ABS Rules on Floating Production Installation

Familiar with ABS and DNV guides on fatigue assessment and plate buckling calculations.

Familiar with DNV SESAM GeniE and Femap NASTRAN software or equivalent.

Experience in basic structural vibrations and troubleshooting.

Experience in FPSO flare tower and vent stack design will be an added advantage.

Experience in ISO19902 and AISC 360-16-LRFD offshore structures design will be an added advantage.

Experience in structural nonlinear analysis will be an added advantage.

Experience in deterministic structural fire analysis using FAHTS and USFOS software will be an added advantage.

The E3D Application Structural Specialist is responsible for utilizing AVEVA E3D software to provide support to Structural Topsides Designers in terms of 3D modeling and drafting tools. This role involves collaborating with Structural Topsides design teams to ensure efficient and accurate structural 3D modeling and drafting output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural 3D Modeling: Maintain the functionality of existing 3D modeling macros modeling tools to ensure smooth and better modeling efficiency. Maintain the structural E3D catalogue. Update the catalogue whenever required by the structural design team.
  • Drawing & Drafting: Maintain the functionality of existing drafting macro tools to ensure smooth and better drafting efficiency. Generate, review and update the Title block details to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • New E3D macros/tool development: Based on project requirements or to further improve the 3D modeling & drafting efficiency and quality, new macros shall be developed, tested and approved prior to implementation.
  • Training and Development: Provide training in E3D software and best practices. Knowledge sharing of the latest/updated AVEVA E3D tool function with designers.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the design teams regarding structural design and E3D software usage.
  • Work collaboratively: Work closely with structural team and other engineering disciplines such as Piping & Electrical to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements. Also participate in the coordination of tool development and standardization across Regional Centers.
  • Structural MTO Extraction: Perform MTO extraction on a weekly basis during EPC.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Programming/Engineering or any engineering field. Knowledge in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering field is an added advantage.
  • Working Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D software with experience in creating/modifying E3D macros. Experience in structural design is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AVEVA E3D. Knowledge of structural design codes and standards is an added advantage.

Job description:

The Principal Structural Engineer utilizes technical expertise to develop and deliver safe and quality solutions with minimal guidance. The Principal Structural Engineer works well and effectively with project stakeholders, inter-discipline leads, and the engineering team to achieve project objectives and ensure quality in engineering delivery in a timely manner. You ensure successful resolution of complex technical issues directly and indirectly related to structural and structural interfaces.

You engage with peers and experts within the Kuala Lumpur execution centre and across international centers to collaborate, promote knowledge sharing, reach alignment, and develop or expand engineering methodologies, internal standards, guidelines, and best practices for continuous improvement.

Job requirements:

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/ Structural/ Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture.
  2. Expert in structural analysis, calculations, and code check.
  3. Expert in finite element analysis, FEA result interpretation, and post-processing.
  4. Demonstrate depth and breadth of technical knowledge to ensure technical solutions account for constructability, maintainability, as well as schedule and budgetary constraints.
  5. Proactively provide Discipline Manager and Discipline Lead with updates regarding activity status, highlight concerns as they arise, and provide guidance to support Discipline Lead to stay within the allocated budget.
  6. Challenge technical solutions to ensure all options have been considered and promote best approach.
  7. Collaborate with Discipline Lead to propose or optimize methodology within the framework of project requirements.
  8. Ensure activities are completed in compliance with applicable policies, client requirements, codes, standards, regulations, and industry practices.
  9. Participate in Client meetings to influence decision making and resolve complex technical issues.

Working experiences:

  1. Minimum 15 years working experience in structural engineering design and analysis calculation for strength, buckling, fatigue of steel structures.
  2. Experience in FPSO hull structures concept development, framing, weight estimation, MTO, detailed design, and construction support.
  3. Familiar with ABS Rules on Floating Production Installation.
  4. Familiar with ABS Eagle ISE and TSA.
  5. Familiar with BV MARS 2000 and VeriSTAR Hull is an added advantage.
  6. Familiar with ABS and DNV guides on fatigue assessment and plate buckling calculations.
  7. Familiar with AISC Specification 1989 Edition, AISC 360-16-ASD, API RP2A-WSD, and AWS D1.1M.
  8. Familiar with Femap NASTRAN and DNV SESAM GeniE software or equivalent.
  9. Experience in basic structural vibrations and troubleshooting.
  10. Experience in structural nonlinear analysis (ship collision, blast analysis).
  11. Experience in interface with Vessel Team (Marine and Naval).
  12. Experience in interface with Topside and Mooring Team.
  13. Experience in full ship length analysis (strength and spectral fatigue) is an added advantage.

Job Opportunity – Drilling Superintendent / Senior Drilling Engineer / Drilling Engineer

We’re sourcing for qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Work Based: Kuala Lumpur.
Estimated Duration: Until 31 December 2025 (with possible extension)

  • Co-ordinates the overall efforts of planning, and operations strategies while obtaining all necessary approval or authority from the company.
  • Manage engineering team members in preparation of Basis of Well Design, Drilling Program, Section Guideline, Logistics Management Plan and other relating documents.
  • Manage the Operations Dept. team in the well-site supervision of all drilling and well construction activities:

(i) adherence to well programs and instructions.

(ii) adherence to safety and environment laws & regulation.

(iii) management of service company contractor.

  • Manage the Operations Dept. team in drilling support operations:

(ii) crew movement.

(iii) supply chain management.

(iv) drilling programs/AFE approval from the government.

  • Manage drilling operations proper coordination through:

(i) conducting coordination morning calls – offshore teams and onshore operation team in the office to report the progress.

(ii) providing input into well programs.

  • Assists developing and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environment plan under liaise with Company’s HSE team, rig contractor and key service providers.
  • More than 15 years’ experience in oil industry & drilling activities.

Senior Drilling Engineer

  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of operating procedure for successful drilling operation.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of BoWD (Basis of Well Design) for planned wells by drilling engineering software ex. Landmark.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the creation of tender process specifications, the selection of drilling service providers and materials suppliers.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for specific recommendations for specific equipment and materials to be ordered to contractors.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for developing WP&B and AFE documents.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for carrying out data analyses to enhance learning effect in future operations.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for closely monitoring daily drilling operations and initiating the processes of MOC whenever necessary.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for interfacing with logistics staffs to stay abreast of daily activities and provide insight, advice and suggestions to them for day to day safe and efficient arrangement.
  • Act Drilling Superintendent during his leave.
  • More than 10 years’ experience in oil industry & drilling activities around Malaysia region.

Drilling Engineer

  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of operating procedure for successful drilling operation.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of BoWD (Basis of Well Design) for planned wells by drilling engineering software ex. Landmark.
