- Proven Experience in understanding of implementation of mechanical design concept in Hydraulics system, Bearing applications and selection, Machine Design, Material selection and application, Gear Box and Transmission systems, etc.
- Demonstrated effective change leadership across a global, multicultural functional organization.
- Effective facilitator and coach
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills on technical and non-technical topics, to audiences across all levels of the organization

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Critical Services Manager, the Mechanical Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the mechanical infrastructure and systems of our hyperscale data centres. This role ensures the continuous and efficient operation of mechanical systems, upholds high standards of safety and compliance, and supports the Critical Services Manager in strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of critical mechanical services 24/7.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical System Management:
- Oversee the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within the data centres.
- Ensure all mechanical infrastructure, including HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and fire suppression systems, operates reliably and efficiently.
- Implement and maintain mechanical safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with shift teams to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage and effective handovers between shifts.
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Plan and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all mechanical equipment and systems are serviced according to manufacturer and company standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for mechanical maintenance and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Safety and Compliance:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of data centre mechanical infrastructure, including HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and fire suppression systems.
- Proven experience in managing technical teams and 24/7 operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex mechanical challenges.

Job SummaryWe are seeking highly skilled Senior Engineers in both Civil & Structural (C&S) and Electrical disciplines to support Cypark’s renewable energy projects, including solar farms, waste-to-energy plants, substations, and related infrastructure . These roles involve delivering advanced engineering designs, technical analysis, and project support to ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities1. Design & Engineering
- Prepare and review detailed designs, drawings, and calculations for renewable energy projects.
- C&S: Structural analysis, foundation design, and infrastructure works.
- Electrical: HV/LV system design, single line diagrams (SLD), protection studies, and electrical specifications.
- Validate consultants’ or contractors’ design submissions for compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
2. Project Support & Coordination
- Provide technical expertise during project development, tendering, and construction stages.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (C&S, Electrical, Mechanical, Project Management) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation, commissioning, and resolve design-related issues.
3. Standards, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements, local authority approvals, and international standards (MS, BS, Eurocode, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
- Prepare design reports, specifications, and documentation for regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Support quality assurance processes and maintain proper documentation for audit and reference.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Research and implement innovative engineering practices, technologies, and materials to improve design sustainability and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to optimizing renewable energy designs for enhanced performance and reduced lifecycle costs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Electrical Engineering .
- Professional Engineer (PE) status with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ relevant experience in design engineering, preferably in renewable energy, power plant, or infrastructure projects.
- C&S: Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
- Electrical: Proficiency in ETAP, DigSilent, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (MS, BS, Eurocode, UBC, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
- Experience in GCPV (Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems) design and implementation is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor junior engineers, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary project team.

Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide PCB design support to various functional groups globally, i,e: R&D, Test development, etc.
- Review and analyze design schematics to plan layout of PCB components including dense multilayer boards.
- Layout various type of high-speed optical communications boards, ie: Module transceiver, transponder, and test boards according to corporate design guidelines.
- Utilize CADCAM tools to assist in design process from Schematic entry to Gerber post processing. Software used: Mentor PADS Layout, PADS Logic and Router, Blueprint, CAM350 and Footprint Expert.
- Communicate with Hardware Design Engineer locally or from other R&D sites globally (design reviews) during design process to ensure the designs fulfill the technical requirements.
- Perform PCB peer review on layout done by co-worker according to corporate standard checklist.
- Occasionally will be required to support the CAD library work ,ie, building PCB footprint and Schematic symbol per IPC 7351 standard and corporate library guidelines.
- Master/bachelor’s degree in any Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant full time PCB Design industry experiences.
- PCB Design software skill particularly Mentor PADS, Router & Logic. Other PCB Design software skill can be considered.
- CAM software skills : CAM350(analyzing, net list verification and reproducing Gerbers) and Blueprint(drafting assembly and fabrication drawings).
- Work under minimum supervision and able to execute responsibilities professionally.
- Demonstrate maturity, initiative and decisive in making independent judgment.
- Strong communication skills to all level of organizations globally in oral and written form.
- Good knowledge in high-speed PCB Design Technology; i.e; Micro strips, strip lines, length matching, differential pairs, micro vias, minimizing stubs, minimizing crosstalk, providing continuous return path, and fine pitch SMD components.
- PCB Design software skill particularly Mentor PADS, Router & Logic. Other PCB Design software skill can be considered.
- This role is 100% onsite
