Overview

We are seeking experienced tax professionals from Associate all the way up to Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level to join our big 4 clients growing Tax team serving clients in the asset management and broader financial services sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital groups, and alternative asset managers and insurance in a dynamic international environment. You will advise clients on U.S. and international tax matters, support compliance efforts, and provide insight on structuring, transactions, and regulatory reporting.

Location: Cayman Islands | Bermuda | Bahamas | British Virgin Islands | Crown Dependencies (e.g., Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man)

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage U.S. tax compliance and consulting engagements for partnerships, corporations, and other entities in the asset management industry
  • Review and prepare U.S. tax returns and forms including but not limited to:
  • Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1120-F, Form 1040-NR
  • Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858, Form 8938, Form 1118, Form 8621
  • FATCA and CRS-related reporting
  • Analyze and apply U.S. Subchapter K (Partnership Tax), Subchapter C (Corporate Tax), PFIC and CFC rules
  • Assist clients with tax structuring and cross-border planning including inbound and outbound investment strategies
  • Prepare and review tax workpapers, allocations, M-1 adjustments, and tax basis schedules
  • Advise on fund formation, investment structuring, and exit planning
  • Liaise with clients, legal counsel, auditors, and tax authorities as needed
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, and manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Monitor and interpret changes in U.S. tax legislation relevant to asset managers operating offshore
Qualifications
  • CPA (U.S.), EA (Enrolled Agent), CTA (UK), ACA, or LL.M. in Taxation
  • Minimum of 212+ years of relevant U.S. tax experience, ideally within a Big 4, mid-tier, or in-house financial services tax team
  • Extensive experience with U.S. partnership and corporate tax compliance, international information reporting, and asset management clients
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal income tax and cross-border taxation matters
  • Working knowledge of common structures including master-feeder funds, blockers, and offshore investment vehicles
  • Prior exposure to international jurisdictions including FATCA, CRS, and local regulatory frameworks is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree with Chargeman 33kV certification AND 3+ years mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing people

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities)

1. Proactively lead on the financial strategy / financial management of the portfolio that includes: -

a. Business plan, budgets and financial projection;

b. Cashflow management of each property and portfolio;

c. Plan and complete asset management initiatives to improve property income & value and to reduce costs; and

d. To achieve and deliver the goals of the financial strategies.

2. Implement proactive risk management to the portfolio. To identify and assess potential risks and subsequently devise plans to mitigate and minimize those risks.

3. Staying updated on market trends, economic conditions and regulatory changes with the ability to conduct high level property market research and the analysis on impact to the property portfolio. This is to overcome returns volatility.

4. Ability to negotiate on salient property agreements and leases.

5. Present monthly review and updates on property operations & performance, budgets and leasing strategy to Management and identify areas for improvement including operational efficiency.

6. Periodically monitor and review the portfolio KPIs and financial measurement metrics.

7. Assist in property transactions (Acquisition and Divestment).

8. Ensure all properties in portfolio & properties’ SPVs comply to (via supports of PHB’s relevant departments & subsidiaries): -

a. Financial regulations- tax law, accounting standards and reporting requirement and payment of property taxes;

b. Industry regulations – land matters, planning matters and building bye-laws; and

c. Leases / tenancies and contracts’ obligations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in property or real estate / finance / economics / business or related field.

2. Minimum 15-17 years in property asset management or property related experiences.

3. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

4. Good communication skills.

5. Detailed oriented and highly organized.

6. Strong time management skills.

7. A team player.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment at our Port Dickson PME Plant. The role supports plant reliability, inventory control, and safety compliance while contributing to engineering projects and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily checks, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Execute maintenance tasks according to schedule and support plant initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor equipment reliability and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Conduct monthly stock counts and report inventory status to the Plant Manager.
  • Maintain workshop housekeeping and implement 5S activities.
  • Ensure safety compliance during all tasks, including work permit issuance and safety documentation.
  • Manage in/out process of tools, parts, and equipment; ensure security of workshop assets.
  • Respond to plant emergencies and participate in engineering projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum diploma qualification or equivalent professional certificate.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and read engineering drawings.
  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
  • Strong organizational and safety awareness.

Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine servicing and troubleshooting of air-conditioning units at LCISB kindergartens, HQ, and warehouse.
  • Conduct inspection, cleaning and minor repair works to ensure AC units function efficiently.
  • Carry out minor electrical tasks such as wiring adjustments, socket repair, or basic troubleshooting.
  • Keep records of maintenance activities, parts used, and follow-up actions.
  • Schedule and prioritize visits across multiple sites based on urgency and maintenance calendar.
  • Monitor air conditioning usage trends and recommend preventive measures.
  • Coordinate with vendors when external expertise is needed (e.g., gas refill, major breakdowns).
  • Ensure safety compliance while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with infrastructure projects or upgrades when required by AIM.
  • Assist in ensuring proper setup and smooth execution of events including training and other HQ events.
  • Assist the line manager in any other tasks required.
Qualifications
  • Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or related field.
  • Valid competency certificate from a recognized authority (if required by local regulations).
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC systems (split units, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in air conditioning maintenance and/or electrical systems.
  • Experience in commercial and residential systems is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing air conditioning units.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Familiar with basic electrical troubleshooting, control panel wiring, and component replacement.
  • Competency in brazing, refrigerant handling, and pressure testing.
  • Ability to use relevant tools and equipment (e.g., multimeter, manifold gauge, vacuum pump).
