About The RoleAs the Senior Technical Operations - Electrical, you are responsible to oversee the electrical infrastructure and systems of our regional Data Centers. This role ensures the continuous and efficient operation of electrical systems and ensures the delivery of critical electrical services 24/7. Ensuring the optimal availability of our technical services and electrical assets throughout their lifecycle, taking into consideration health, safety, environment, costs, investments, and customer requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the design, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the Data Centers.
- Ensure all electrical infrastructures, including power distribution units (PDU), UPS, Generators, Switchgears and Transformers are operating reliably and efficiently.
- Assist in the review and approval of RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) by contractors performing work in our facilities.
- Develop standardized procedures for the maintenance, modifications, inspections, and drills of electrical systems, continuously optimizing and updating them based on on-site conditions.
- Participate fully in the testing and verification of Data Center electrical systems, identifying any issues during testing and verification, and promptly resolving any discovered problems.
- Assess potential risks in the Data Center and develop a remediation plan.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance activities, and perform audits for maintenance activities.
- Conduct technical communication with the D&C team, gather relevant requirements from the operations and maintenance (O&M) team, and convey these needs to the D&C team.
- Review and evaluate the D&C team’s design plans, identify associated risks, and provide actionable recommendations for solutions.
- Engage in technical communication with OEMs, leveraging relevant technical skills to address equipment risks on site.
- Collaborate and communicate across teams to ensure site stability.
- Compose the YOPs requirement for electrical system.
- Support other APAC sites in maintaining technical alignment with Yondr's global standards.
- Willing to travel within short notice if required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, experience would be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience (with 5+ years of experience working in Data Centers and/or critical environments preferred).
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the design, maintenance, and operations of electrical systems in critical environments, preferably Data Centers.
- Experienced in the delivery of highly complex technical projects.

- Lead the architect, design and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains and market segments that meets the customer, regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to integrate electrical & electronic systems into overall product architecture and support product transition to manufacturing.
- With the relevant technical competencies, convert concepts into design requirements, integrate digital or analog design, develop schematic and review fabrication drawing, conduct design simulations / reliability analysis and drive PCB layout design.
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate design concepts and iterate as necessary.
- Support technical proposal, planning and cost estimation that will aid in the initial quoting process.
