We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Sales Manager/Director who will be a key part of our global sales organization. Detailed Description

Develop strong and long-lasting insight based relationships with our customers and identify mobilizers. The incumbent will act as the primary sales interface for several accounts on a regional basis. More specifically:

Investigates potential new opportunities within the account

Hunts for new accounts or regions

Gains competitive intelligence and always ties insights back to our unique strengths in the market

Creates opportunities to provide a unique and contrarian perspective during commercial conversations and is able to reframe the way customers view their business

Have deep knowledge of customer’s business current macro and microeconomic trends, industry trends and potential new business opportunities

Engages the customer by deliberately tying their business priorities to our value proposition

Manages the overall customer relationship process while supporting business development in the planning and execution of the account strategies, tactics and selling propositions.

Acts as the Customer advocate to ensure that the organization remains customer-focused.

Acts as the main focal point to understand customers needs and requests, manages them and delivers business proposals and RFQ responses to customers.

Maintains a minimum revenue accountability (a personal sales quota) equivalent to at least US$5M in value-add.

Establishes value before ROI/financial terms. Is able to qualify and quantify the impact of maintaining the status quo or pursuing competitor’s solutions.

Experience in the Challenger Sales methodology is highly preferred

Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship management and professional sales skills

Have the ability to work on, and close, multiple prospects simultaneously

Experience in high complex service selling within a global network

Understanding of technical and manufacturing process fundamentals related to electronics and electromechanical products

Proven track record of developing business with new clients / developing new marketsled by a technical background (either in manufacturing or engineering)

Fostering and building relationships with existing clients as required

Strong strategic planning and execution skills

Ability to understand Profit and Loss modeling and sales impacts to improving customer financials

Value based solution selling, business judgment, negotiation and decision-making skills.

Experience working and selling with senior level executives.

Extremely strong team management skills

Exceptional ability to work with others as part of a cross-functional team

Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations

Demonstrated ability to have successfully carried a sales, revenue or operational quota gains

Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and client relations within a manufacturing and/or engineering service organisation

Creative In setting up sales campaigns and strategies in order to attract customer interests

Languages: Fluent English; German of advantage

Business Travel is required 30-50%

Senior Environmental Consultant, Renewable Energy and Thermal Power – AFRY, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support environmental aspects of environmental and social (E&S) feasibility studies for energy sector projects (natural gas, LNG to Power, biomass, Waste to Energy, wind, solar, hybrid, etc.) and potential other sectors e.g. infrastructure.
  • Lead and support environmental and social due diligence studies for energy sector projects and potential other sectors.
  • Lead and support as lender's environmental and social advisor during the construction and operation of energy sector projects and potential other sectors, including supporting consultations with Project Affected Persons and other stakeholders in Malaysia.
  • Serve as Project Manager for Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and the development of E&S Management Plans. Provide guidance on environmental matters, including regulatory E&S requirements during the ESIA process.
  • Support Clients to develop and implement Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
  • Contribute to business development by providing strategic advice on environmental and social issues to existing and potential clients, including preparation of marketing material.
  • Prepare proposals (technical and financial) for environmental and social services.
  • Support other AFRY E&S staff in the region and contribute to work outside of the region when opportunities arise.
  • Enforce ethics and compliance in accordance with AFRY Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
  • Higher professional degree in environmental science, engineering or related field (B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D.).
  • 8+ years’ experience in environmental consulting / management.
  • Experience in the preparation of ESIAs and E&S Management Plans for renewable and thermal power projects.
  • Experience in performing Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) for renewable and thermal power projects.
  • Track record of project managing environmental and social services for renewable and thermal power projects.
  • Knowledge of potential social issues i.e. labor issues, resettlement and livelihood issues; experience in stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian regulatory E&S requirements and international E&S standards and guidelines (Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, WBG EHS Guidelines, ADB Safeguards, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel to other countries inside and outside the region to support environmental and social services.
  • Fluency in Malay and English.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures and work independently.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience and associated technical understanding
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the area of Quality or Complaint Management
  • Good in critical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills e.g., DOE, 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, 5-Why, Fish Bone, IS-IS NOT etc.
  • Must have strong teamwork and communication skills, passion, productivity, and self-learning ability
  • Good understanding in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perletc will be an added advantage
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications
  • Good written and verbal presentation skills in English

Overview

The role: Senior Project Electrical Engineer (DPT5).

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead for the project, acting as the primary contact for all technical matters, assess risks and opportunities, and propose actions.
  • Ensure customer technical requirements are met in terms of performance, quality, cost, and time, in accordance with the contract and based on the tender phase specifications.
  • Lead a technical team of designers and engineers across multiple sites/countries, ensuring international collaboration and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of integrated customer projects, including design, implementation, testing, FAT, and SAT.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director/Manager and Contracts Manager to manage technical risks and interfaces between stakeholders and the customer, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
  • Obtain final customer approval for the overall technical solution.
  • Coordinate basic and detailed design of all technical aspects of an integrated solution, ensuring alignment with customer and contract requirements.
  • Ensure the project technical team delivers according to the project schedule and monitor technical costs to maintain budget control for technical aspects.
  • Coordinate all technical implementation activities at factories, supplier premises, and testing facilities until project closure.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and other designers/engineers responsible for parts of the technical scope; identify and coordinate specific expertise as needed.
  • Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of subcontracted parts of the project in collaboration with the procurement team; act as the single point of contact for all stakeholders regarding the project's technical content.
  • Perform and review design and specification activities using Schneider Electric products and systems to maximize profitability and minimize risks; may perform some implementation/testing activities.
  • Identify potential changes to the contract or agreed design; work with PM to specify changes and their implications, including cost impact, until obtaining a variation order.
  • Alert PM of significant issues that could affect project performance or customer satisfaction.
  • Lead technical discussions and clarifications with customers and serve as the key contact for all technical topics related to the project.
  • Support PM to ensure full compliance with Schneider Electric processes, quality instructions, safety requirements, and governance principles; lead the technical team in addressing deviations or quality issues during project execution.
  • Participate in technical leadership communities of practice; identify and share lessons learned and best practices; coach junior engineers and stay updated on developments in your field.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Master’s in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience leading the technical scope of customer projects or parts of large projects in MV/LV Electrical Distribution.
  • Experience in UPS domain (load study, battery sizing, BOM creation, SLD, UPS panel GA & drawings) is a plus.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, including electrical houses (ehouses) mechanical/structural/HVAC design/review, is a plus.
  • Ability to lead functional and remote teams.

Summary

The Lead Engineer, Electrical Design works in cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Design, develop and implement technical solutions in two or more technical areas. Lead smaller projects and may coordinate with other engineers including reviews of their work.
  • Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.
  • Creates technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.
  • Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. e.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
  • Testing, simulation and measuring (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
  • Solve complex problems
  • Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
  • Analyze and interpret data and information
  • Recommend modifications for systems
  • Create reports and documentation

– Take major role in geophysical data interpretation of Block 4E and SK418, i.e, seismic structural interpretation, velocity modelling, seismic attribute analysis, prospect/lead extraction to exploit exploration potential of the Block 4E.
– Conduct Quantitative seismic interpretation, e.g., rockphysics modelling, seismic inversion, and seismic reservoir mapping, in line with geology team and third-party experts, to assess reservoir and fluid property, exploiting target reservoir’s rock physics properties.
– Manage and supervise the QI works by technical 3rd party and QC the deliverables in line with exploration objectives.
– Work with the geology and operation team to propose drilling prospects and prepare summarize exploration drilling proposal, including appropriate exploration risk analysis.
– Support in geophysical data acquisition planning and operation for geophysical survey, site survey, and well data.

  • Takes responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.).

  • Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develops deployment strategies and plans.
  • Leads the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinates site-wide deployment efforts.
