Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for new product development and execution of product samples.
  2. Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning the sample team, following up on work results.
  3. Monitor, track, and organize all records of new product samples, including document records and filing.
  4. Lead the department team in quick response to internal or external requests.
  5. Provide technical support for market product troubleshooting, such as quality issues and consumer complaints.
  6. Evaluate, research, develop, and improve techniques for quality, reliability, and safety control of new and existing products.
  7. Handle development of products from design to production stages (B.O.M, technical drawings, fixtures/jigs).
  8. Assess the cost-effectiveness and availability of raw materials for new product development.
  9. Maintain and prepare all engineering documents.
  10. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in furniture manufacturing , including at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role .
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or other design programs .
  4. Willing to work on alternate Saturdays.
  5. Good communication skills in English & Mandarin due to business requirements.
  6. Working hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) / Alternate Saturday (8:00 am - 1:00 pm).

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for one of our clients. Your job scope is as follows:

You will be responsible for

  • Deriving insights from data using descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning methods
  • Supporting data-driven decisions when working directly with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
  • Developing AI and ML solutions to tackle business challenges and enhance efficiency through process automations
  • Producing and presenting in-depth analytics reports
  • Working with non-technical users and developing our data maturity For you to be successful

  • Identifies, resolves problems, and removes obstacles that could hinder projects success & progress

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years in an analytical position. Coding experience required
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar required
  • Proven experience handling end-to-end data science projects starting from problem understanding, data cleaning and analysis, modelling, testing and (ideally) deployment
  • Experience with typical data science packages: numpy, pandas, matplotlib/seaborn, scikit-learn, scipy, statsmodels, andTensorFlow/Pytorch
  • Experience inNLPand Computer Vision nice to have
  • Knowledge ofMLOpsprinciples and tools:cloud technologies, version control, and microservices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
