Minimum Requirements

- Familiar with GIT/SVN version control systems.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other open-source CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with open-source reporting tools.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with payment gateway and e-wallet integration.
- Understanding of IT resource management and IT governance frameworks.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Front End & Process Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
About The Job
As part of the role, you will have the chance to:
- Perform engineering analysis to identify optimal solutions based on client drivers and be able to efficiently communicate these solutions through technical reports and presentations
- Carry-out techno-economic analyses for energy projects (upstream, mid-stream, down-stream but also renewables)
- Work on key Energy Transition topics such as Hydrogen, CCUS, Ammonia, Biofuels and biowaste, etc
- Imagine & support the development new digital tools to improve our performance or deliver added-value to our clients
- Participate to consulting activities from green fields to mature assets
- Consolidate results and methodologies within sound deliverables
- Liaise and interface with consulting, engineering, business and digital teams as well as external partners
Main Accountabilities;
- Performs advisory work as defined by project. in accordance with Genesis and project quality requirements.
- Controls relevant discipline engineering activities to ensure completion of safe and operable design in accordance with Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations and codes.
- Reviews job scope and provides estimates and schedules.
- Communicates regularly with Client / Study Manager to ensure objectives are being met in a timely manner.
- Reviews all relevant discipline data.
- Interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
- Develops engineering strategies, philosophies and procedures.
- Participates in project presentations to communicate results.
- Reviews all data requested by Client for approval.
- Participates in safety, environmental, operational and design review meetings, where necessary.
- Provides support to younger engineers and mentor assigned personnel.
- Participates in Genesis global knowledge sharing initiatives within their engineering discipline.
- Capacity to lead small discipline engineering teams and/or lead small projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Less than 2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferably have 1-2 years project design experiences in Concept Identification, Feasibility Study, Concept Selection, Conceptual Engineering and/or FEED (FEL1/2/3) type of project;
- Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.
- Good report writing, communication and social skills.
- Ability to explain discipline engineering concepts in a straightforward manner.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet job requirements.
- Ability to work as part of a team and Strong team collaboration
- Intellectual ownership of assigned work scope
- Integrity and trust.
- Demonstration of curiosity, drive and flexibility
- Strong proficiency in Ms Word, Excel , PowerPoint
- Good / effective communication skills
- Good understanding of PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, H&MB and process simulation software (HYSYS, Symmetry etc.)
- Minimum education: master degree (or international equivalent) in a subject relevant to the engineering discipline.
- Industry experience with preferentially some experience front end studies specifically (previous experience in a consultancy, design house, engineering contractor or operator environment).
- Experience in typical relevant technical process engineering software
- Digital skills & appetite
- Knowledge of project economics
- Experience in energy transition domains
- Operational support experience
- Working in an client environment
