The Assistant Information Systems Manager is responsible for the implementation of Information Technology in the hotel in accordance with Hilton's Information Technology strategies and priorities, as well as measuring information technology costs, benefits and performance in the hotel and providing this information to hotel management and the Regional Information Systems Manager.
**What will I be doing?**
As the Senior Information Systems Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maximize and protect hotel profitability through the leverage of information technology, training and operational best practices.
- Maximize opportunities to reduce IT costs through effective purchasing and negotiating maintenance contracts.
- Identify and propose opportunities to augment revenue.
- Responsible for timely preparation and submission of all IT budgets.
- Responsible for the management and control of all IT expense according to an agreed plan.
- Ensure a business continuity plan is established and tested for all parts of the business.
- Ensure the highest possible IT service is provided to the agreed standards and best practices.
- Work with Business Management to expedite access and better utilization of information.
- Implement and exploit telephony services to HI minimum defined standards.
- Ensure guest IT queries are managed to defined standards with minimal risks.
- Ensure brand standards are communicated and maintained for guest and business Service.
- Ensure the hotel adopts and maintains brand standards for guests and business services in relation to IT services and offerings.
- Consistently promote the brand and encourage the use of the brand by IT suppliers.
- Ensure IT resources are maintained in the hotel to support the commercial and business needs.
- Identify and ensure all hotel data has ownership and accountability within the organization.
- Ensure a successor is identified and trained to meet standards.
- Provide IT support to other Hilton hotels when required.
- Cross train other hotel IT personnel to provide cover.
- Maintain standards and best practices in the hotel and evaluate compliance.
- Manage and monitor local vendors and / or local representatives of global / area vendors.
- Ensure that hotel data is secured and in line with stated standards and best practices.
- Ensure regular self-evaluations of IT practices are completed and communicated, ensuring machine room access registration and safety.
- Source, evaluate and implement local solutions where appropriate within a framework agreed by Area V.P. IT.
- Ensure access control is in line with stated standards and best practices.
- Complete disaster recovery drills regularly to familiarize operational departments with manual bookkeeping procedures.
- Communicate status, risks, opportunities to GM, hotel management and Regional & Area IT management.
- Adhere to the hotel's security and emergency policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's team member rules and regulations.
- Manage local implementation projects.

- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities.

A Senior Information Systems Executive serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- University degree and above.
- IT major and certified.
- At least 1-year experience as the Assistant Manager or 2 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Possess all system skills and proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
- Proficient in English and Chinese to meet business needs.

  • Security related systems and platforms including but not limited to LAN/Wi-Fi, Firewall (INTERNET/DMZ/Internal segmented VLANs), SSL-VPN, IPS/IDS, EDR : End Point Detection and Response (CrowdStrike), Vulnerability Management for Server and Client (Qualys), SIEM Log Management.
  • Drive Roadmap lifecycle of all the systems in scope of GDC Global IS Roadmap in compliance with NTT GDC directions. Conduct standardization efforts across GDC Japan/APAC to support the business.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, and ITIL based operation in IT Service Provider Industry
  • Ability to display some knowledge of some or any of:
    • Routing – OSPF/BGP/CIDR/VRRP/IPv6
    • Switching - VLANS/LACP/PoE/STP
    • General – DNS/DHCP/SMTP/VPN
    • Servers - Azure/ESXi, Windows/Linux OS
    • Protocols – HTTPS/DNS/DHCP/SMTP/NTP
    • Apps – ServiceNOW/SAP/SharePoint
    • End Point - End User Computing (Windows Laptop PC), Mobile Devices (MDM/BYOD)
  • Flexible and not afraid of getting “hands dirty” with some of the more hands on tasks involved with building and running data centers
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations as required at short notice
  • Ability to work and collaborate with teams from several business areas/functions in facilitating projects

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, Scaled Agile are beneficial.

Required Experience:

  • Moderate level of experience working in IT operations, preferably within a global IT services organization.
  • Entry level of experience leading and managing an IT team.
  • Moderate level of experience working as part of an Agile team, using Agile principles and methods.
  • Moderate level of business experience (particularly experience gained within the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations) would be beneficial.

Your day at NTT DATA

As our new Information Systems (IS) Sub Lead in Malaysia, you will work in NTT Global Data Center Japan/APAC’s IS Department based at Cyberjaya data centre, supporting the daily operation of the Information Systems related systems and network infrastructure, and participate in project work as required by the business and client requirements. You will report to the IS Lead in MY.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

Represent IS Lead MY in his/her absence or unavailability

Responsible for system administrative works and data steward tasks for daily operation.

Responsible for Change Management practices in line with Technical Lead technical approval, impact analysis, communication and documentation of the change. In align with Group IT Security policy/procedure, follow required practices across company organization. Support IT/System users in Malaysia. Target System: Systems listed in NTTGDC Global IS Roadmap and existing GDC APAC own IT systems. Security related systems and platforms including but not limited to LAN/Wi-Fi, Firewall (INTERNET/DMZ/Internal segmented VLANs), SSL-VPN, IPS/IDS, EDR : End Point Detection and Response (CrowdStrike), Vulnerability Management for Server and Client (Qualys), SIEM Log Management. Drive Roadmap lifecycle of all the systems in scope of GDC Global IS Roadmap in compliance with NTT GDC directions. Conduct standardization efforts across GDC Japan/APAC to support the business.

Knowledge and Attributes:

Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, and ITIL based operation in IT Service Provider Industry Ability to display some knowledge of some or any of: Routing – OSPF/BGP/CIDR/VRRP/IPv6 Switching - VLANS/LACP/PoE/STP General – DNS/DHCP/SMTP/VPN Servers - Azure/ESXi, Windows/Linux OS Protocols – HTTPS/DNS/DHCP/SMTP/NTP Apps – ServiceNOW/SAP/SharePoint End Point - End User Computing (Windows Laptop PC), Mobile Devices (MDM/BYOD) Flexible and not afraid of getting “hands dirty” with some of the more hands on tasks involved with building and running data centers Flexibility to travel to other locations as required at short notice Ability to work and collaborate with teams from several business areas/functions in facilitating projects

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, Scaled Agile are beneficial.

Required Experience:

Moderate level of experience working in IT operations, preferably within a global IT services organization. Entry level of experience leading and managing an IT team. Moderate level of experience working as part of an Agile team, using Agile principles and methods. Moderate level of business experience (particularly experience gained within the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations) would be beneficial.

Th CISE will oversee and mentor IT support staff, manage the deployment and support of clinical IT solutions, and ensure robust protection of clinical and hospital-wide digital assets against evolving cyber threats. A proactive role in compliance with healthcare regulations and information security frameworks is critical.

The CISE will also work closely with our DevOPS and support Teams to ensure that all new technologies deployed meet the necessary security requirements for the hospital.

The scope of and requirements of this position is subject to change based on implementations of new systems throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity & Compliance Focus

  • Lead hospital-wide efforts to mitigate cyber threats, including threat detection, incident response, and network defense.
  • Enforce compliance with data privacy and protection regulations such as Cayman DPL, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, controls, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with industry best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Perform scheduled security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Ensure DR/BCP plans are cybersecurity-resilient, tested, and documented.

Clinical Infrastructure Leadership

  • Manage and optimize the availability, performance, and security of clinical systems including: our main Clinical EMR & Patient Billing system, the Radiology PACS, Laboratory Information Systems (COBAS, Orchard), Hospital VOIP and PBX systems, Critical infrastructure (SANs, Fortinet Firewalls, HP/Aruba Networks).
  • Lead deployments and upgrades of clinical and IT infrastructure projects, ensuring minimal clinical workflow disruptions.
  • Ensure high availability and integrity of core services: network access, EHR, imaging, voice, data, and clinical messaging systems.
  • Coordinate closely with medical and clinical operations teams to align infrastructure support with patient care needs.
  • Provide detailed reports on infrastructure security posture, uptime, incident response metrics, and performance KPIs/QPIs.

Technical Skills & System Knowledge

  • Understanding of healthcare IT standards and protocols: DICOM, HL7, ANSI X12, EDI
  • Advanced knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS, MFA, SIEMs, and endpoint protection EDR/MDR/XDR platforms
  • Proficient in: Windows Server, UNIX/Linux, VMWare/Hyper-V, and virtualization technologies
  • Hands-on enterprise networking experience with (Layer 2/3), including VLANs, routing, QoS, and wireless architectures
  • Hands-on experience with SAN technologies (iSCSI, Fiber Channel), storage replication, and backup solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Advanced knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) and secure remote access protocols (RDP, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS)

Supervision and Support

  • Supervise and mentor support technicians and engineers across helpdesk, infrastructure, and application support areas.
  • Maintain operational excellence through ticketing system oversight and SLA adherence.
  • Act as Tier-2 escalation for complex clinical system, network, and security incidents.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science, or equivalent certifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospital/clinical environments or other high security environments with infrastructure and cybersecurity related responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
  • Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Security, HCISPP, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)

Platform Familiarity (or equivalent enterprise platforms)

  • VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN)

  • Experience with ancillary physical security measures (IP intercom, analytics, perimeter security, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in system administration and Windows client.
