**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will apply basic cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Complete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
+ Create and post journal entries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests,
+ and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted.
+ Use aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.
+ Generate financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
+ Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
+ Understand and work with scenario planning (exit/maintain/grow) tools/models, while analyzing trends in
+ general business conditions.
+ Respond to and resolve issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports.
+ Research open accounting issues and recognize potential issues and conflicts so corrective action can intercept and minimize issues.
+ Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of

+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Program Overview

The Summer Program is a 10-week program designed to provide Summer Analysts with a unique opportunity to gain an exposure to life at Bank of America and also make significant contributions to the team. The Summer Program begins with an orientation and induction to the firm. Summer Analysts are given a true associate experience, as assignments mirror full-time responsibility and include goal-setting and a formal review process.

What you’ll do:

As a Summer Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Developing and maintaining complex financial models Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research Preparation of presentation and other materials for clients Participation in due diligence sessions, communications and interaction with deal team members Management of several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups, providing you with a unique learning opportunity Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging full spectrum of the bank's capabilities Develop and leverage upon a truly global network - learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future career options and opportunities

Our Summer Analyst program is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work as a full time Investment Banking Analyst. During the summer you will be placed within one of our industry, country or product coverage teams. Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Unique to Bank of America is our provision of a Chief Resource Officer (CRO). The CRO’s role is to manage and optimize the junior banker experience. The CRO partners closely with senior leadership to instill the firm’s culture, to ensure work/life balance and to provide a well-rounded, fun and value-add experience for junior bankers.

In some countries, Summer Analysts are placed in a generalist team which means a 'staffer' will staff you on projects in specific industry, product and country coverage groups. In others, Summer Analysts are placed directly with a specific team throughout the internship. Team placement is determined by considering business needs and the interests/skills of the Summer Analyst.

Job Description:

  • To provide One-Stop and holistic banking solutions to our customers.
  • Offer Professional Wealth Advice - Be part of the leading wealth solutions team in the industry and supported by regional wealth panel. You will engage with our wealth specialists, sensing the pulse of the global economy, and in return offer your professional advice and appropriate financial solutions to our customers, achieving your revenue target.
  • Be Our Personal and Premier Banking Advocate and Acquire New Customers - You will be involved in events and sales activities in line with the business direction and other sales initiatives. By engaging customers and prospects, you will be the ambassador of the bank, sharing the benefits and inviting them to be part of the Personal / Premier Banking.
  • Service - You are expected to proactively engage our customers to establish a good relationship and achieve growing customer satisfaction in line with improving customer engagement scores consistently.
  • Compliance - You are to adhere diligently to all documentary processes and procedures. Ensure no lapses in control requirements and submit reports, both statutory and regulatory, in a timely manner. Ensure zero defects in account opening, sales transaction execution, loan submission, and others.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma and above holder with experience in sales or service experience in the financial or service industry (e.g., service areas include Airline, Telco, Hotel, Tourism).
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • License and relevant certifications (PCE, MTA, FIMM, IPPC/PPKM, etc.) are an added advantage.
  • Possess strong interest in financial planning, investment, lending, and sales.
  • Strong understanding of both financial and non-financial markets as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good social networking skills and able to deliver and maintain a high quality of customer service.
  • Multi-lingual abilities will be an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
