Job Responsibilities
  • Teacher in charge of teaching subjects that are assigned by the Management; includes preparation of daily lesson plans and related teaching aids.
  • Teach according to “Rancangan Pengajaran Tahunan” and finish all syllabus within the year.
  • Share the responsibility of discipline & cleanliness of class and school.
  • Record and monitor students’ daily attendance and ensure attendance data are readily available for retrieval by TZU CHI at the end of each month.
  • Assigning work to students in accordance to centre’s guideline, correct and mark work done by the students on a timely basis.
  • Collect monthly fees and book fees for the assigned class.
  • Preparation of examination papers for two half-yearly assessments and two small tests in between. Mark and grade test / examination papers.
  • Maintenance of students’ progress record including test scores, absenteeism, conduct and comment by teacher for half-yearly submission to TZU CHI.
  • Build and maintain effective relationship with parents. Conduct home visit when required.
  • To attend and participate in teaching staff meeting.
  • To manage and supervise co-curricular activities (normally held on Saturdays).
  • To attend regular teacher trainings conducted by TZU CHI.

PRIMARY TEACHER – Key Responsibilities

To create and implement lesson plans and activities for Primary students. Deliver engaging and effective instruction. Assess and monitor student learning and progress. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Line management: The Primary Teacher will report to the Head of Primary.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education / Bachelor’s degree in education or any other relevant fields.
  • Qualified teaching certification and experience in primary/elementary education.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to engage and motivate young students.
