Job Responsibility

• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate Chinese prayer materials based on their needs and preferences, offering guidance and recommendations.
• Manage and maintain the visual appeal of the indoor sales area, including product displays, promotional materials, and overall store cleanliness.

• Monitor inventory levels of Chinese prayer materials, proactively identifying low-stock items and communicating replenishment needs to the relevant department.
• Support marketing initiatives by distributing promotional materials, assisting with in-store events, and gathering customer feedback on products and services.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences in the Chinese prayer materials industry, providing insights to the sales and marketing teams.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, proactively reaching out to offer assistance and promote new products or services.
• Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to promote products and engage with customers online, including managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
  
  

• Possess at least 2 years of relevant sales experience, familiar with retail or wholesale business.
• Secondary education/SPM/'O' Level, with good Chinese communication skills.
• Familiar with business development, marketing, sales techniques, and market research.
• Understand and be able to utilize digital marketing tools and strategies.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build good relationships with customers.
• Able to independently complete sales tasks and achieve sales targets.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our vibrant retail team at BELLA BEAUTY in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time role will involve providing exceptional customer service, assisting with daily store operations, and contributing to the overall success of our retail business.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

Advising customers on product features, usage, and recommendations

Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintaining store cleanliness, product displays, and inventory levels

Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed

Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer experiences

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the consumer products industry
