Job Description

Sales Support is responsible for handling orders, inventory, deliveries, returns, and customer service inquiries, as well as assisting the sales staff with sales and marketing activities. Sales Support works closely with the branch manager, the sales representatives, and the warehouse personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders and quotes, verify pricing and availability, and follow up on order status and delivery confirmation.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and availability, perform cycle counts, replenish stock, and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups, load and unload trucks, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Handle customer returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, process credit memos and invoices, and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
  • Provide customer service and support, answer phone calls and emails, and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Assist the sales staff with sales and marketing activities, such as generating leads, preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and participating in trade shows and events.
  • Assist & drive sales in industrial distribution to achieve sales goals and targets.
  • Develop strong relationship and networking to existing/prospective customers.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks, such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
  • A strong aptitude for Sales and a desire to sell

  • The ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 5-10kg and may weigh up to 15kg
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Your tasks include:

Join SRI's sales team as an internal sales support member where your daily responsibilities will enable you to liaise with our wide network of customers. The candidate is strongly encouraged to be self motivated and able to work well within a team to achieve group sales targets.

Job Title: Associate, Sales Support

Job Description

The Associate, Sales Support is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the internal and external sales teams, allowing them to focus on sales activities. This position assists with order processing, sales contract research, price quotations, and document management while adhering to established processes related to quotations, bookings, and invoicing. Additionally, the role requires a basic understanding of product offerings and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel to effectively support sales initiatives and customer needs.

  • Prepare detailed quotes for contract renewal and RFP/RFI responses daily to ensure timely and accurate pricing for client proposals
  • Maintain quote documentation with precise pricing and configuration updates weekly to support compliance and ease of access
  • Ensure integrity of client information in database systems regularly to maintain data accuracy and reliability
  • Update and manage Excel spreadsheets as needed to track quotes, documentation, and client interactions
  • Handle external and internal queries professionally and promptly to promote a client-oriented service approach
  • Perform bookings and purchase order processing daily to facilitate timely transaction completion and booking reconciliation
  • Conduct quality assurance self-checks on documentation and processes to ensure high standards and accuracy
  • Prioritize tasks to meet assigned deadlines consistently while paying attention to details for quality outcomes
