Job Responsibilities
  • Perform clean area environmental monitoring (e.g. settling bacteria, dust particles, air volume, pressure difference, etc.).
  • Conduct daily maintenance and regular verification of process water and process gas.
  • Carry out product testing, including sterility, initial contamination bacteria, bacterial endotoxin, and EO residue testing.
  • Inspect raw materials and inner packaging materials for initial contamination bacteria and insoluble particles.
  • Manage microbiological and physical/chemical laboratories, including testing instruments, reagents, records, inventory, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Perform microbial sampling, testing, data recording, statistical analysis, and ensure accuracy and completeness of test reports.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in good condition through routine upkeep.
  • Record and report quality issues identified during testing, participate in analysis and verification.
  • Support other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree or above in Biology, Medicine, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Relevant working experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of biochemical laboratory testing experience, with proficiency in molecular biology experiments (preferred).
  • Familiar with sterility testing and standardized microbial testing operations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, logical thinking, hands-on experimental skills, and willingness to learn.
  • Familiar with laws and regulations related to sterility requirements of medical devices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must hold a professional certificate approved by the relevant authority (special cases can be approved by direct leaders).

Job Description
  • Perform basic laboratory test as per accordance with approved test methods or procedures.
  • Assist Microbiologist in carrying out laboratory testing, method development and compliance with QA/QC requirement.
  • Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in the laboratory.
  • Ensure the sample preparation equipment are used and maintained in proper way.
  • Make sure all relevant raw data or test information to be correctly and accurately recorded in the provided raw data sheet or manual log book.
  • To report any hazard/risk, near-miss and incident in Crystal system.
  • Ensure that all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements are met.
  • Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Science
  • Fresh-graduates in Microbiology related studiesis open to consider, chances to be further groom as Microbiologist
  • 1-3 years’ laboratory experience in related activities is preferred.
