The function of this role is to provide support to the UK Ipsos Project Management team on the day-to-day responsibilities on the relevant client account. These responsibilities could range from supporting continuous tracking data on the full portfolio of products within the client business, to specific ad hoc shorter time frame projects. Working closely with the Project Managers, you will be involved with tasks and responsibilities that help ensure that the project is both set up and running efficiently end to end, with a view to delivering against project specifications and delighting the client. Essential Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Complying with operational scope, and managing budgets, timeline and quality per the project requirements.
- Managing internal operations team dependent on project and client.
- Provide support in the set up and ongoing delivery of the project, including adjusting project set up for e.g. change requests.
- Use and application of project management platforms, techniques and technology
- Check programme links for accuracy against the questionnaire – content, flow, instructions, stimuli
- Regular maintenance of questionnaire updates in English
- Add translation overlays to approved English programme links
- Manage specific inputs based on client project design, such as Questionnaire Selection File, Pre-Code File, MRT updates
- Adherence to and control of project change logs
- Maintain brand lists, accuracy and updates
- Review and collate fieldwork project against target sample requirements
- Prepare, plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are prepared and sent to schedule
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members

, the Research Analyst is required to maintain accurate information currency to support the growth of LSEG Risk Intelligence business across the region. You will conduct in-depth research on breaking news in China regarding specific Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) related issues. We focus on maintaining an extensive list of China Politically exposed persons (PEP), State owned & invested enterprises (SOE/SIE), Sanctions ownership information, etc.Daily, you will research and extract data from extensive sources from public domain in China, in Mandarin language, ensure accuracy and quality of findings by aligning with policies and applicable laws.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide China content support to clients on daily basis and work closely with China team members to support China related ad-hoc projects.
- Work independently in handling individual assignment and tasks.
- Strong adherence to China and General research guidelines following strict requirements to ensure product content and quality.
You'll bring:
- Full professional language proficiency in Mandarin and as job involves conducting research in this language on a daily basis.

Required Day To Day Responsibilities
- Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in Mandarin and English languages
- To investigate official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information on companies and individuals
- To analyse the collected information with a view to reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorism financing, regulatory violations, etc.)
To prepare comprehensive reports in English which are:
in a standardized format - in accordance with our internal Research Methodology and Style Guide
- meeting client specific requirements
delivered on time
Liaise with third-party vendors (verification of provided information, placing them in a report)
- Work optimally within teams or by yourself, be proactive to identify and resolve problems
- Document policies, procedures and work processes
- Adhere to current data policies and procedures
- Backup other analysts in the team during their absence
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Native or full professional proficiency in Mandarin, as role requires extensive reading in these languages and may involve interactions with clients of these languages.
- Strong research skills, including online search tools
- Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
- Japanese or Korean language skill is an advantage
- Work experience in due diligence, KYC or compliance is desireable
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree (preferably in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management)

Job Purpose
The function of this role is to provide support to the Ipsos Project Management team on the day-to-day
responsibilities on the relevant client account. These responsibilities could range from supporting continuous
tracking data on the full portfolio of products within the client business, to specific ad hoc shorter time frame
projects. Working closely with the Project Managers, you will be involved with tasks and responsibilities that help
ensure that the project is both set up and running efficiently end to end, with a view to delivering against project

- Complying with operational scope, and managing budgets, timeline and quality per the project requirements.

- Provide support in the set up and ongoing delivery of the project, including adjusting project set up for e.g. change requests.
- Use and application of project management platforms, techniques and technology
- Check programme links for accuracy against the questionnaire content, flow, instructions, stimuli
- Regular maintenance of questionnaire updates in English
- Add translation overlays to approved English programme links
- Manage specific inputs based on client project design, such as Questionnaire Selection File, Pre-Code File, MRT updates
- Adherence to and control of project change logs
- Maintain brand lists, accuracy and updates
- Review and collate fieldwork project against target sample requirements
- Prepare, plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are prepared and sent to schedule
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members
