- Conducting a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on a variety of samples according to standard operating procedures

What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a scientific or technical discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or chemical engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for conducting sampling and shift physical testing according to standard test methods (national standards as well as in-house test methods) as per the Quality Plan and as per superior instruction.
2. Comply and adhere to the Group's Health & Safety policies, NSCI standards and advisories & OHSAS requirements.
3. Comply with the company's Quality, Energy, Safety, Health and Environment management systems at all times.
4. Ensure the implementation of the laboratory management system in accordance with SAMM MS ISO/IEC 17025.
5. Test raw meal, kiln feed, clinker & cement according to relevant standards as per Quality Plan.
6. Test all raw materials & fuels according to relevant standards as per Quality Plan.
7. Use, operate, troubleshoot, check, verify and clean the Shift Laboratory equipment and tools.
8. Use, operate, troubleshoot, check, verify and clean the raw materials sample preparation room equipment and tools.
9. Inculcate good safety behavior at the workplace by sharing best practices during work and daily toolbox meetings.
10. Execute good laboratory practice such as but not limited to equipment calibration & verification.
11. Communicate with the Manager/Chemist/Engineer/Supervisor with respect to the tests and quality issues.
12. Practice good housekeeping.
