Job Description

Job Summary

  • Responsible for ensuring new product quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure products manufactured meet product & process quality requirements.
  • Handle customer complaint resolution and improve product warranty processes.
  • Develop, review, and monitor the effectiveness of quality control procedures, proposing and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Ensure closure of internal and external audit findings, including product safety audits.
  • Monitor and supervise QMM technician performance to ensure efficiency in quality management processes.
  • Lead process improvement projects and update management on progress and results.
  • Resolve quality problems using problem-solving processes like PSS/8D.
  • Create and maintain inspection plans for in-process (EQ, FQ) and outgoing (VQ) inspections.
  • Approve component first article inspections (ISIR) and incoming part inspection plans, including cost reduction activities.
  • Report on KPIs timely and establish corrective action plans.
  • Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by superiors.

Job Scope

  • Manage start-up projects, warranty issues, customer complaints, first article approvals (ISIR), reliability testing (QZ), etc.
  • Conduct product qualification tests for new projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Participate actively in FEP, QG, FMEA, CP, and production line releases.
  • Prepare testing and inspection plans, including product test plans, inspection plans (EP), QZ test plans, and FQ/VQ checklists.
  • Train QMM test technicians on inspection plans and checklists.
  • Collaborate with service centers to understand product quality in the market.
  • Coordinate project testing, investigate failures, and ensure corrective actions are closed looped.
  • Approve part releases and incoming inspection plans.
  • Ensure all ISIR requirements are fulfilled before release, such as S, F, L, and Cpk > 1.33.
  • Align measurement methodologies between PgP2 and suppliers.
  • Ensure fixtures and practical tests are ready before pilot runs.
  • Lead Q-VSM processes and ensure requirements are met during pilot stages.

Operation Support / Value Stream Quality

  • Oversee product & process quality in the value stream, supporting performance improvement.
  • Manage quality during process changes, sorting, rework, concessions, customer complaints, etc.
  • Handle quality management for plant activities like ALR, relocations, new lines/equipment, machine/process parameters, etc.
  • Support supplier quality issues, cost-saving initiatives, and change approvals.
  • Conduct regular reviews with production for CP and FMEA.
  • Perform failure analysis on warranty complaints and drive improvements.
  • Verify ANDI contents before release and proper implementation.
  • Conduct periodic audits for line and process compliance.
  • Investigate non-conformance incidents with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive quality process improvements like Q-VSM, functional testing, MES data analysis, etc.
  • Manage plant-to-plant quality complaints and product transfer quality measures.
  • Conduct monthly quality meetings and warranty analysis reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Sciences.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, or project management.
  • Experience with plastic molding, metal stamping, turn parts, PCBA, die-casting, or hardening parts.
  • Knowledge of software coding is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, TS16949, EN standards, and safety requirements like UL, CSA.
  • Proficiency with statistical QC tools, measurement methods, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and operate measurement equipment such as CMM, vision scope, profile projector, gear profile, and hardness testers.
  • Hands-on experience in failure analysis and problem-solving methodologies like 5 Why’s, RCA, fault tree analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with risk assessment capabilities.

Job Summary : The product quality executive position requires an individual with strong technical expertise in Biologics manufacturing to serve as Person in Plant (PIP) during manufacturing campaigns, providing on-site quality oversight including upstream and downstream processes at Contract Manufacturing Organizations. This role is critical in ensuring that manufacturing activities are conducted in compliance with GMP, internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Oversight (Person in Plant)

· Act as on-site quality representative during manufacturing of Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP)

· Provide real-time oversight of upstream and activities.

· Monitor adherence to approved MBRs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements

· Assess critical in-process parameters, deviations, and potential impact on product quality

· Facilitate timely resolution of quality-related issues during manufacturing.

Quality Review & Documentation

· Ensure manufacturing deviations, OOS/OOT, and non-conformances are properly documented, investigated, and closed in a timely manner

· Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are implemented effectively.

Process & Product Knowledge

· Maintain a strong understanding of process development, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing

· Support tech transfer and process validation (PPQ) activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with CMOs, internal QA, regulatory affairs, and analytical teams

· Contribute to quality risk assessments for manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related life sciences discipline

· 3–5 years of relevant GMP experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing

· Hands-on knowledge of upstream culture and downstream purification processes

· Prior experience as Person in Plant or equivalent on-site manufacturing oversight role preferred

· Strong understanding of EU GMP / PIC/S GMP regulations

· Ability to interpret technical manufacturing data and identify potential quality risks

· Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

You have

Talent Acquisition Specialist | Hiring for Manufacturing Plant Operations

Job Responsibilities

  • Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure alignment with internal Quality Systems (QS) and global standards.
  • Support and participate in customer audits; drive timely closure of findings and ensure cross-functional compliance with product and process quality requirements.
  • Incoming Material Quality Management
  • Analyze material issues from the production line; coordinate with SQE to ensure supplier corrective actions are effectively implemented and incoming quality is maintained.
  • Process Quality & Risk Management
  • Lead the resolution of in-process quality issues through root cause analysis, risk assessment, and preventive actions.
  • Drive corrective actions for non-conformities, implement error-proofing solutions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Manage customer complaints and feedback by developing and executing effective corrective and preventive action plans, ensuring timely resolution and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Documentation & Standards
  • Develop and maintain quality engineering documents (QIP, WI, VA) and inspection criteria. Prepare and manage Certificates of Conformance (COC) to ensure quality consistency.
  • Quality Improvement & Process Qualification
  • Lead quality improvement projects using DMAIC methodology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process changes, new line/machine qualifications, and tooling validation. Identify and mitigate quality risks proactively.
  • Approve WIP scrap applications, monitor scrap trends, and initiate corrective measures.
  • Analyze top failures, identify root causes, validate improvement actions, and track results to ensure sustained product quality performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a quality function within the electronics industry;
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in DOE, GR&R, and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of cable assembly manufacturing processes (crimping, soldering, testing).
  • Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, and other relevant electrical industry standards.
  • Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin to communicate with our TE China counterpart.

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to further develop their skills in quality management and problem-solving. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support activities such as managing product quality plans and handling customer complaints. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong behavioral skills, including:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Representing quality in innovation, customization, and relocation projects, initiating necessary quality measures
  • Product quality planning and management
  • Approval of products and component parts (First Lot and Product Approval)
  • Initializing and approving Initial Sample Inspections
  • Coordinating and processing First Article Inspections
  • Handling customer claims (8D reports and Non-conformance reports)
  • Managing deviations and approvals
  • Ensuring compliance with CE!/CEX requirements
  • Supporting change requests and approval processes from a quality perspective
  • Assisting in Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Additional qualifications in quality engineering or a proven track record as a quality engineer are advantageous
  • Extensive experience with quality processes of high-tech components in a global, highly consolidated market environment
