Job Description
The role of the DevOps Engineer is to automate and optimize the software development and deployment processes in order to provide continuous integration, delivery, and dependable, effective system operations. Through automation and monitoring, this function helps to close the gap between IT operations and development, improving efficiency and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage infrastructure using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
- Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to automate the software release process.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure system health and performance.
- Use configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate the setup and maintenance of software configurations across various environments.
- Ensure that all cloud infrastructure complies with security policies and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection in Azure.
- Monitor and optimize Azure cloud costs using Azure Cost Management tools, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures or outages.
- Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to support and improve the software delivery lifecycle, resolving issues and enhancing collaboration.
- Write scripts and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Analyze system performance and implement tuning and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and scalability of applications hosted on Azure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices to leverage new capabilities and improve existing solutions.

- At least 4years relevant experience in DevOps skillset
- Required Specific Knowledge and Capabilities: Cloud and Infrastructure Proficiency, Automation and CI/CD, Monitoring, Security, and Compliance, Performance Optimization and Cost Management and Collaboration and Continuous Improvement.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our new headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our production systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance across our decentralized compute network. You'll play a key part in supporting mission-critical infrastructure for our AI and cloud gaming customers globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated deployment pipelines for our cloud-based services
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize and automate build, deployment, and release processes
- Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect our cloud-based services and customer data
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Manage and scale our containerized applications using orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Golang or PowerShell
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8S), CI/CD, and Docker
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience working in structured environments such as Huawei, ZTE, or banking institutions is preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory (written and spoken)

Description and RequirementsJob Responsibilities
- Develop scripts to automate day-to-day operation processes that require manual work.
- Support security vulnerability fixes, including OS patches and kernel upgrades.
- Manage middleware versions, including configuration management, optimization, and version upgrades.
- Handle daily technical issues, including managing Public Cloud resources and VM lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and carry out web platform administration activities to ensure issues are resolved promptly within SLAs.
- Monitor site performance to identify system bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis.
- Proactively research and quickly adopt new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and enterprise-wide teams to develop system and process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a reputable university/college with at least 4 years of experience in IT Application DevOps.
- Passionate about technical IT work and adopting new technologies.
- Experience managing private and public clouds.
- Experience managing Linux-based infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language.
- Experience designing high concurrency, high availability architectures.
- Knowledge of Python/Django.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
