As an Associate / Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Leads IT control assessments for our clients to ensure effective IT controls are in place to meeting operational and compliance requirements.
• Works with our clients IT, Internal Audit, Compliance and other key stakeholders to create an IT GRC strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the IT risks inherent in our client’s operations and industry.
• Develops Vendor Risk Management policies and supports client’s risk profile assessment for vendor on-boarding process and conducts annual review of critical vendors.
• Performs ongoing logical access reviews and recommends updates to access control privileges to ensure proper Segregation of Duties based on user access reviews.
• Effectively reports and communicates testing results to client’s IT management for corrective action, where required.
• Conducts information security awareness training.
• Performs evidence collection and project management assistance of our clients annual compliance (e.g. CREST, PCI DSS) certification program.
• Track and monitor risk exceptions to ensure control deviations are identified and mitigating controls are in place.
• Assist our clients with drafting and maintaining information security policies
• Provides mentoring for other team members.
• Demonstrates excellent project management skills, inspires teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and uses current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
• Facilitates the performance and testing of our client’s annual disaster recovery tests and business continuity plans.

Technical and Expertise

• Strong understanding of and ability to provide security configuration and testing of networking and operating systems including TCP/IP, WAN/LAN routing, VLAN architecture, and a wide array of large-scale environments including various major web application servers
• Strong understanding of information security principles such as ISO 27001, BNM GPIS, MAS TRM PCI-DSS, PDPA, and other regulatory compliance
• Microsoft OS and Office knowledge
• Technical document writing
• Experience in Project Management in IT
• Knowledge in perimeter firewall infrastructure and VPN remote access

Certifications / Training

• CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP certified

Job Description:

Participate in negotiations and structuring deals to secure optimal financing terms.
• Exit Planning and IPO Preparation : Assist in developing and executing strategies for M&A, exit planning, including IPO readiness assessments, and coordinate with legal and financial advisors for the preparation of relevant documentation.
• Quarterly and Annual Reporting: Lead the development and presentation of detailed quarterly and annual reports that highlight the company’s financial position, operational performance, strategic initiatives, and subsidiary performance.
• Board Presentations: Prepare compelling presentations for the Board of Directors, offering insights into financial performance, strategic achievements, future growth opportunities, and subsidiary performance.
• Investor Relations : Serve as a key point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and maintaining open lines of communication. Ensure that all reporting is compliant with regulatory standards and investor expectations.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trends review to inform strategic decision-making and investor communications, with a focus on both the parent company and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly advantageous
• 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, investor relations, or a similar role in growth, strategy, business development, or VC/PE investments firm
• Specific experience in fundraising, exit planning, and/or IPO preparation is advantageous but not required
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and big data analytics
• Demonstrated ability to develop compelling investment cases and understand financial structuring for equity and debt financing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and concise reports for non-financial stakeholders.
• Technology background and prior experience in a consulting firm, VC, private equity firm, investment bank, or a related role in a startup a plus

Key responsibilities:

Assistant/Senior Assistant/Associate (A1)

• Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, financial statements, capital account statements and net asset values
• Prepare bank account reconciliation
• Prepare consolidation workings and accounting packages
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices
• Prepare waterfall and equalization workings
• Coordinate annual audits
• Draft annual financial statements and their related FRS/IFRS/US GAAP disclosures
• Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned.

Senior Specialist/Senior Accounts Officer (A2)

• Review and be responsible for the accuracy of the accounting reports and deliverables prepared by Specialists.
• Supervise a team of junior staff and overseeing their efficiency, work quality on deliverables and supporting the Team Lead in job planning.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monitor unusual items and movement, and investigate reconciling items.
• Ensure queries are resolved with business units and action points are followed through.
• Review manual journal entries at month end and ensure that the supporting documentation for each manual journal entry is complete, adequate, and accurate.
• Focus on key/risk accounts including balance sheet reclassification adjustments.
• Perform and review monthly income tax calculation if required.
• Handle ad hoc activities as assigned.

Key requirements:

• Assistant: Fresh graduate in accounting fields/ACCA/CAT/MICPA/MIA
• Senior Assistant/Associate: 1-3 year working experience in accounting or financial audit with Accounting degree/ ACCA/CAT/MICPA/MIA
• Senior Associate: 3+ year experience in accounting or financial audit with Accounting degree/ACCA/MICPA/MIA and reviewing experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skill is essential.
• Good command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Job Description

Senior Finance Associate / Finance Associate (2 positions)

About the roles:

The positions – RTR is responsible for managing end-to-end RTR activities including period-end close activities, fixed asset management, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliation, financial and management reporting, and local statutory and tax support for the APAC region.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate with business controllers to ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing General Ledger (GL) entries during month/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all accounts are accurately reconciled.
• Responsible for preparing and closing monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in financial data.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support and complete assigned financial tasks.
• Work proactively with team leads or managers to identify, propose, and implement continuous process improvements and automation initiatives within the RTR function to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain and update the internal controls framework, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AP/AR/Cash Management, to support business requirements.
• Perform forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Assist in ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin; Cantonese is an advantage for handling Hong Kong operations.

In this role you will work along with our clients to transform their business through disruptive

innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in

modernizing systems, processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and

services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.

Your key responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibilities include designing and developing end to end responsive interfaces that deliver world class UX for consumer facing and/or employee facing web applications and mobile applications.
• You will add functionality to these front-end applications by invoking microservices and will incorporate digital capabilities such as mobile payments, telematics and so on.
• You will be responsible for design and development of microservices and related integration patterns (e.g. orchestrations, messaging patterns, event generation, data streaming) to implement the technical architecture of our client solutions.
• You will be expected to leverage your knowledge of best practices and tools in this area to create efficient, reliable, scalable and high-performance code.
• You will collaborate with functional requirements, user experience, and microservices teams to deliver high-quality output that exceeds client expectations.
