Job Description
Claims Processing Team:
Claims Processing team will be responsible in managing the claims queries, and concerns of customers, claims processing, and monitoring
Technical Processing Team:
Technical processing team will be responsible in preparing insurance documents such as debit and credit notes, insurance premium notes, and other documents and liaising with stakeholders and brokers
Underwriting Team:
The team's key responsibility is to process transactions of Clients / Customers accurately, communicate as and when required via emails, and ensuring at all times that the process is carried out efficiently within the approved guidelines and agreed timeframes.
Qualifications
Associate - Ops
- Freshers are welcome to apply
- Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably with experience in Customer Service or specific industry such as Insurance, and/or Finance.

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- Leads IT control assessments for our clients to ensure effective IT controls are in place to meeting operational and compliance requirements.
- Works with our clients IT, Internal Audit, Compliance and other key stakeholders to create an IT GRC strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the IT risks inherent in our client’s operations and industry.
- Develops Vendor Risk Management policies and supports client’s risk profile assessment for vendor on-boarding process and conducts annual review of critical vendors.
- Performs ongoing logical access reviews and recommends updates to access control privileges to ensure proper Segregation of Duties based on user access reviews.
- Effectively reports and communicates testing results to client’s IT management for corrective action, where required.
- Conducts information security awareness training.
- Performs evidence collection and project management assistance of our clients annual compliance (e.g. CREST, PCI DSS) certification program.
- Track and monitor risk exceptions to ensure control deviations are identified and mitigating controls are in place.
- Assist our clients with drafting and maintaining information security policies
- Provides mentoring for other team members.
- Demonstrates excellent project management skills, inspires teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and uses current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
- Facilitates the performance and testing of our client’s annual disaster recovery tests and business continuity plans.
Technical and Expertise
- Strong understanding of and ability to provide security configuration and testing of networking and operating systems including TCP/IP, WAN/LAN routing, VLAN architecture, and a wide array of large-scale environments including various major web application servers
- Strong understanding of information security principles such as ISO 27001, BNM GPIS, MAS TRM PCI-DSS, PDPA, and other regulatory compliance
- Microsoft OS and Office knowledge
- Technical document writing
- Experience in Project Management in IT
- Knowledge in perimeter firewall infrastructure and VPN remote access
Certifications / Training
- CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP certified

Job Description:
- Financial Reporting : Oversee the preparation of monthly investor reports from management accounts, ensuring accuracy, and tailoring reports to meet investor needs. This includes analyzing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and equity statements and providing appropriate commentary
- Subsidiary Reporting and Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain advanced operating and performance trackers for subsidiaries and group companies, integrating budget comparisons to track and analyze performance trends and variances. Work closely with subsidiary management teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
- Business Health and Operating Metrics : Compile and analyze key business and subsidiary metrics, leveraging big data analytics to provide insights into operating performance, project outcomes, customer acquisition costs etc
- Industry Landscaping : Providing thought leadership and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to ensure the company's strategic initiatives stay innovative and relevant
- Fundraising and Financial Structuring: Lead the preparation of fundraising decks for equity or debt financing, working closely with financial advisors and management to present a compelling case to potential investors or lenders. Participate in negotiations and structuring deals to secure optimal financing terms.
- Exit Planning and IPO Preparation : Assist in developing and executing strategies for M&A, exit planning, including IPO readiness assessments, and coordinate with legal and financial advisors for the preparation of relevant documentation.
- Quarterly and Annual Reporting: Lead the development and presentation of detailed quarterly and annual reports that highlight the company’s financial position, operational performance, strategic initiatives, and subsidiary performance.
- Board Presentations: Prepare compelling presentations for the Board of Directors, offering insights into financial performance, strategic achievements, future growth opportunities, and subsidiary performance.
- Investor Relations : Serve as a key point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and maintaining open lines of communication. Ensure that all reporting is compliant with regulatory standards and investor expectations.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trends review to inform strategic decision-making and investor communications, with a focus on both the parent company and its subsidiaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is highly advantageous
- 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting, investor relations, or a similar role in growth, strategy, business development, or VC/PE investments firm
- Specific experience in fundraising, exit planning, and/or IPO preparation is advantageous but not required
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and big data analytics
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling investment cases and understand financial structuring for equity and debt financing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and concise reports for non-financial stakeholders.
- Technology background and prior experience in a consulting firm, VC, private equity firm, investment bank, or a related role in a startup a plus
- Work well under pressure, with a high degree of dependability, adaptability, and flexibility

Key responsibilities:

- Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, financial statements, capital account statements and net asset values

- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices
