Job Description- Technical expert for passive components (e.g., inductors, capacitors, resistors) in package development projects.
- Perform design, drawing, and specification for inductors based on design guidelines and assembly rules, ensuring design for manufacturing, quality, and cost.
- Collaborate with internal teams and component suppliers on design requirements, specifications, and selection; ensure design aligns with manufacturing, quality, and cost objectives.
- Drive passive component development activities, ensuring project milestones, cost targets, and documentation releases (specifications, drawings, GIMM, etc.).

About the Team

- Debugging issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
- Working with multiple teams, and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time
- Working closely with supporting technical teams
- Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
- Leading collaborative approach with multiple teams
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with emulation platforms like Palladium, Zebu, Veloce
- Soc Design Debug techniques and methodologies
- Experience debugging failures using emulation waveform viewers, log files and microcode trace dumps.
- Experience in validating H/W Design using emulation
- Knowledge of one or more protocols; SPI, DDR, SATA, USB, AXI, PCI, PCIe, MIPI, WLAN or I2C
- Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to details
- Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.

Job Description
- Responsible for Thermomechanical Simulation of BE Assembly Processes (e.g., Die Bond, Wire Bond, Transfer Molding, Lead Cutting & Forming, etc.) using FEA, CFD or other numerical techniques
- Performing simulation-based risk assessment of manufacturability issues (e.g., warpage) and reliability issues (e.g., delamination, crack, cyclic fatigue, etc.)
In your new role you will:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant course
- 8+ years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry
- Advanced Level in Finite Element Analysis (minimum requirement)
- Familiarity with assembly processes involved in Electronic Packaging
- Familiarity with material characterization techniques will be a definite advantage
- Adaptability to adjust to dynamic changes in customer requirements
- Creativity in finding new ways to solve technical problems
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a way that clients clearly understand
