Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using React Native.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize features for the POS and Restaurant Management System for both iOS and Android using React Native.
• Integrate features and functionality across domains such as finance, reporting, orders, and outlet information .
• Build an offline-first experience to ensure reliability for end users.
• Manage and optimize SQLite databases to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, design, and implement new features.
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows using Bash scripts or AI tools like ChatGPT .
• Take ownership of your work, delivering high-quality, maintainable code and continuously improving app performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Available to join immediately on-site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia .
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience as a React Native Developer with strong API integration skills.
• Proficient in TypeScript and experienced with React, React Native, Node.js, and/or Express .
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as OpenAI SDK or Gemini SDK for implementing smart features.
• Experience managing and optimizing SQLite databases.
• Familiarity with Replit and Cursor for collaborative, efficient development.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying at least 2 apps to the Play Store, App Store, or other public platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with responsiveness and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage workload independently while contributing ideas to the team.

Are you passionate about mobile apps and excited to build products used by millions? BJAK is seeking a Mobile App Developer to join our expanding team. You'll work with Flutter or React Native to contribute directly to our apps, alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and build meaningful features in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build new features and improve existing modules in our cross-platform mobile apps
• Assist in integrating backend APIs and third-party libraries (e.g., Firebase, Stripe)
• Write clean, maintainable code with support from more senior team members
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
• Collaborate with the product and design team to deliver smooth user experiences
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to app stability and usability
  
  

• 0–2 years of experience in Flutter or React Native, or strong project/internship experience
• Understanding of mobile app lifecycle, state management, and UI/UX basics
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, Git, and cross-platform development fundamentals
