Opportunity Overview
The Quality & Process Improvement Engineer is a hybrid role designed to manage the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) while also guide process improvement and digital transformation initiatives. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement projects, and utilizing information technology to optimize business processes. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional who excels in quality management, process engineering, and the use of technology to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Quality Management:
+ Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
+ Conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement of quality processes.
+ Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, procedures, and metrics across the organization.
+ Responsible for root cause and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and customer complaints.
+ Process Improvement & Design:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement initiatives.
+ Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Design and document efficient business processes, ensuring they align with company objectives and industry's best practices.
+ Develop tools and frameworks for process standardization and optimization.
+ Digital Transformation & IT Integration:

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment, Business Process Engineering, Quality Management or a similar role.
+ Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and project management.
+ Experience in process design, mapping, and optimization using software tools (e.g., Visio, BPM tools).
+ Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with IT tools such as ERP systems, data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and automation platforms.
+ Excellent problem-solving, investigation andd decision-making skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
+ Experience with digital transformation projects or IT systems implementation.

+ Coordinate and guide staff for robust investigation on any customer complaint or feedback
+ Feedback customer complaint to relevant internal party for awareness upon any SR receive and monthly update the SR status during Quality Councils
+ Final verify the corrective / preventive actions to ensure its efficiency
+ Liaise with Internal party, CSN and LBP on investigation final outcome
**FQA :-**
+ Manage and support FQA function including inspection plan and documentation
+ Liaise with 3 rd party or LBP on any raise query on valve assembly quality
+ Drive continue improvement through DCRS analysis on relevant operation process
+ Plan and manage the activity, including scheduling, prioritization, and budget management
**NDT:-**
+ Ensure all testing procedures comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO).
+ Stay updated on changes in standards and implement them in testing protocols.
+ Work closely with other engineers, quality assurance teams, and production staff to ensure that testing is coordinated into the production process.
+ Provide technical support and mentorship to other team members and collaborators
**QC System:** -
+ Provide guidance to other team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient operation completion
+ Plan and lead the activity, including scheduling, prioritisation, and budget management.

**Job Overview**
Core responsibility of the Job holder is the Supplier parts approval/qualification process. Start from supplier Technical & Feasibility review to Supplier parts Approval package following by the Supplier Safe Launch process. The ASQ ensures the supplier FAAR to be successful. Holds main interface / key contact with the supplier base during pre-serial stages.
**Job Requirements**
- Owner of the parts qualification/Approval process (APQP, PPAP) with suppliers in E1 phase, included in migration
projects.
- Performs Technical and Feasibility review at supplier side.
- Support Design Reviews (materials, tool, product features, etc.) on early stages of NPI.
- Key Quality Contact on projects since gate 2 till exiting Safe Launch period.
- Defines QIP Criteria for incoming inspection along with IQE in E1.
- Responsible for Safe launch definition and tracking at Suppliers.
- Responsible for Run @ Rate events at suppliers.
- Follow TE LEANPD process on supplier for new components.
- Involved on measurement correlation with supplier whenever required.
- Responsible for the Complaint Handling / Problem Solving (8D's) / Chargeback process since gate 2 till exiting Safe
Launch period.
- If desired might participate on New Supplier Assessments
- Responsible for application and compliance of Lessons Learned documents before SOP with support of SQE
- Responsible for Reversed FMEA (R-FMEA) execution at Supplier as applicable.
- Ensure traceability.
- Supports other region's parts approval aactivities when geographically convenient.
**What your background should look like**
**Educational Degree**
-B.S. degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related fiel
**Professional Experience (years in** **what processes and function)** :
- 5 years' experience in the supplier APQP process, Automotive Industry is a plus.
- Knowledge on ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred
**Special Qualifications, Knowledge** **& Skills**
- Demonstrated skills in a matrix environment
- Working Knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.g., Molding, Stamping, PAB/PCBA, diecasting.)
- Be familiar with the tools related to supplier APQP process, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, and 8D's.
- Ability to work across cultures and countries effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of Problem-Solving tools
- Process Auditor Skills is a plus
- SAP basic knowledge
- Knowledge in GD&T and Advance knowledge reading technical drawings and specifications

As Sr. Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA), your role is critical to ensuring supplier compliance with Honeywell requirements, driving product quality and supporting flawless execution of First Article Inspection (FAI), Source Inspection activities and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). This is a high impact role where you will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure supplier compliant products, reduce risk, and enable on-time product delivery.
In this role you'll directly influence supplier performance, product quality and customer satisfaction. You'll gain visibility across the organization and play a key role in ensuring our supply chain delivers excellence every time.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Focal point for review and approval of Supplier First Article Inspections; ensure procured product meets drawings, specifications, processes, and Purchase Order requirements.
+ Focal point for Product Release activities including performing Self Release audits and Source Inspection at Honeywell and/or supplier sites.
+ Coach and train suppliers on Honeywell systems and Honeywell requirements
+ Support review of supplier systems and processes to identify risks and recommend systemic actions including but not limited to supplier APQP and PPAP deliverables
+ Participate in creation and review of PFMEA, Control Plan and other APQP deliverables.
+ Support suppliers and/or engineering to resolve concerns relating to production hardware compliance with Honeywell requirements,
+ Support robust RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), QNs (Quality Notifications) and SCARS (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) processes to eliminate non-conformances
+ Support Rapid Containment and Corrective Actions on Supplier Caused Customer Escapes (SCCE)
+ Support, plan, deploy and monitor Supplier initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Support supplier, internal and regulatory audits as required.
+ Lead or support continuous improvement efforts related to SQE organization processes, Quality Measures, Productivity, Escapes, and supplier FAI First Pass Yields.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ United States Citizenship due to government contracts (unless supporting regions outside US)
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
+ Minimum 5 years experience in Quality, Engineering or manufacturing
+ Minimum 2 years experience working with suppliers or in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with GD&T and inspection techniques.
+ Role involves travel to supplier sites and Honeywell facilities as needed.
+ Ability to meet physical requirements (vision test, lift up to 20 lbs., walking/standing for extended periods)
