Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management, leadership and development of the Planning Department within a local Site .
  • Creates and implements new planning strategies.
  • Reviews capacity modules and schedules.

The Supply Planning Manager responsible in managing a team of supply, material and production planners to ensure sufficient supply and optimum inventory for business continuity and growth. This role will provide long term supply strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. Key Accountabilities

  • Supply Planning
    • Ensure supply on time to meet customers required date at 95% service level.
    • Key liaison between manufacturing, commercial, logistic, demand planning and procurement teams to ensure product feasibility, material availability and smooth shipment execution.
    • Partner with the manufacturing sites to optimize production processes, ensure operational & product readiness for shipment execution.

      • Forecast future inventory holding using historical data, trends, and market analysis.
      • Reorder point calculation: Determining the optimum reorder stock and safety stock level to avoid stockouts and manage demand volatility.
      • Work with R&D, FSQR and production to NPI (non performing inventory) depletion plan.
      • Perform inventory matching for monthly cycle count/year end physical stock with system records to identify discrepancies at internal and external tankers, tollers, internal and external warehouse.
      • Perform annual/bi-annual ABCXYZ matrix for SKU rationalization.
    • S&OE & IBP process owner
      • Facilitate the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) & SP (Supply Point) process.
      • Provide supply visibility and risk assessments to support business decision.
    • Process Optimization
      • Leverage ERP to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
      • Drive continuous improvements in planning process, KPIs and planning tools.
      • Support digital transformation and automation of manual planning tasks.
      • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain- planning process.

YOUR ROLE AS A MANAGER, NETWORK PLANNING

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Accountable to identify, evaluate and develop new flying opportunities. Assess various route performance factors such as current demand, growth trend, market fare, competitive landscape, cost structure and commercial strength and provide management with thoroughly researched business cases supported by P&L forecasts on route and fleet decisions.
  • Review route network performance in order to detect profitability gaps and provide data-driven suggestions to influence various stakeholders from Revenue Management, Scheduling, Sales and/or Operations toward corrective actions.
  • Keep abreast of changing market dynamics from both the demand and supply perspectives, including ethnic connections, labour movements, tourism trends and geopolitical swings, competitor movement, network updates, frequency changes, and gauge adjustments.
  • Prepare and represent AirAsia Group Network Planning participation in both internal and external stakeholder engagements. WHO YOU ARE:

  • Network Planning, Revenue Management, Commercial/Sales: 2+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to strategic initiatives in consulting, network strategy, or commercial analytics, ideally in aviation or a complex operations-driven environment.

This position will work alongside the Associate Director to lead a portfolio of clients, including PHD key accounts such as Wipro Unza, HSBC, LG, Friesland Campina, Volkswagen, and others.

The experience you will gather with PHD Planning department:

  1. Exposure to client portfolio billings and revenue management
  2. Participation in new business development and pitches
  3. Build leadership skills through mentorship and on-the-job training, enabling you to lead and independently manage client accounts
  4. Gain confidence in client service, relationship management, mentorship, and talent development
  5. Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy to drive communications planning and strategic media solutions
  6. Develop strategic skills in communications planning using PHD’s proprietary systems – OMNI STUDIO, OMNI
  7. Engage in brand campaign planning, media & creative brainstorming, and campaign proposals
  8. Understand trends and consumer insights to inform media strategies
  9. Implement holistic media planning, integrating offline and online solutions
  10. Enhance PHD’s performance marketing expertise and digital capabilities

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in media or communications, with a strong interest in digital-centric approaches
  • Positive energy and eagerness to learn
  • Passion for ideas, brand building, and understanding consumers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fun, passionate, and motivated
