Job Overview

The Project Execution Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging project execution and sales functions. This role ensures smooth project delivery by integrating sales commitments with execution capabilities, managing technical feasibility, and maintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have both technical and commercial expertise in laboratory projects and cleanroom, including lab furniture, fume hoods, gas systems, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Technical Pre-Sales Support
  • Work closely with the sales team to assess project feasibility, scope, and technical requirements.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, tenders, and quotations for laboratory projects.
  • Conduct site assessments to ensure project specifications align with actual conditions.
  • Provide technical clarifications to clients and support negotiations on project scope.
  • Project Planning & Execution Coordination
  • Develop detailed execution plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and procurement schedules.
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution by aligning contract terms with deliverables.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Client  Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the key liaison between clients, sales, and execution teams.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards throughout the project.
  • Support post-installation services, including training, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Commercial & Process Improvement Support
  • Work with the finance team to track project costs, variations, and payment schedules.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements in project execution and sales handover.
  • Assist in market research for new product offerings and service enhancements.

Others

  • Any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in project execution, technical sales, or engineering roles, preferably in laboratory projects, construction, or M&E industries.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of laboratory furniture, fume hoods, high-purity gas systems, and ventilation systems.Â
  • Understanding of AutoCAD, project scheduling tools, and CRM softwareÂ
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations for laboratory setupsÂ
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Â
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Â
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines efficiently.

Support Vice President in managing and administer all the pre & post contract Works for all Rail Systems, Wayside & Equipment's Projects and Consultancy Services as to meet the project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality.

  • Utilize the e-Procurement System to raise Purchase Requests (PR)
  • Act as an I-Supplier user to claim project management fees on behalf of RHB Property Sdn Bhd
  • Manage contracts related to groupwide furniture tenders

New Job Opportunity – Senior Engineer, Project Cost & Planning (Advance Work Package “AWP”)

Good day!

We are sourcing for qualified candidates to fill the post below:

Senior Engineer, Project Cost & Planning (Advance Work Package “AWP”)
Malaysian candidates only
Work Location: KL Office, Other Work Site(s)
Duration: 2 years (renewable)

REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Relevant certificates on AWP from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
– Min. of 15 years of experience as a planning engineer in Oil & Gas project, out of which 5years (one full project) as AWP engineer.
– Sound knowledge of construction industry process & practices.
– Hands-on experience in AWP. Must have developed, implemented & updated AWP using AWP software.
– Working knowledge in 3D model development.
– General knowledge of engineering, procurement, delivery & fabrication related subjects as required for AWP works.
– Thorough knowledge on the path of construction.
– Able to manage multiple contractors simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities.
– Proficiency in relevant software and tools for AWP.
– Aware of industrial practices regarding AWP.
– Experience working on various construction projects, including Oil & Gas constructions.
– Strong project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
– Proficiency in AWP software and 3D engineering software.
– Able to work on multiple tasks, manage and prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines.
– Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English. Able to effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors.
