ABOUT THE ROLE:
Kinsajasa Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support both offshore facilities and onshore plant operations. This role is central to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of on-site service activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, technical execution and project close-out, working closely with clients, vendors and internal teams.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ABOUT YOU:

- 1–3 years of experience in plant projects, maintenance or reliability (Oil & Gas experience is an advantage).
- Strong project management skills with experience in planning, execution, and coordination.
- Proficient in MS Excel or other tools for data management and task tracking.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).

Report to Managers and/or Senior Engineers. Schedule, Execute and Perform field jobs at customers sites. Such as Preventive Maintenance, Repair Services, Troubleshooting, System Installation and Testing & Commissioning (T&C), within the datelines given.
JOB SCOPES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Plan, Schedule and Execute the field jobs – Apply 4M (manpower, material, machine & method) approach. Control material and manpower costs. Implement best possible processes and methods to complete the jobs.
i. Collect sufficient technical data/information prior to field jobs mobilization. Conduct site visit & assessment if required.
ii. Ensure right manpower/skills, complete material, confirm what systems installed & apply right method/tools to the job.
iii. Ensure full and on-time deliveries of the contractual scopes of work/supply.
2) Manage Customers and Contractors – Liaise with customer's key personnel & coordinate contractor's work on site.
i. Manage external human factor (i.e. customer's key personnel, contractor's manpower, etc.) to ensure smooth execution, coordination and completion of field jobs.
ii. Coordinate contractor's work progress on site to ensure 4M are fulfilled to avoid delay and idling time.
3) Regular Update / Feedback & Continuous Improvement – Reporting to supervisor/manager to ensure issues/problems are taken care of. Highlight to the office of any special matters, i.e. customer's contract issue, competitor's intelligence, industry's new information, system improvement possibilities, etc.

ii. Ensure immediate submission if invoices to customers.
iii. On-time filing of Service reports and Technical reports at office and/or digital cloud platform.
DETAILED DAILY TASKS
- Installation, Troubleshooting, Testing and Commissioning of Water Treatment and Filtration systems (i.e. the Systems) at site.
- Implement Preventive Maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of the Systems.
- RESPOND Immediately (or as soon as possible) to customers on enquiries, complaints, feedback, requests, questions, etc.
- Support customers remotely for technical consultation.
- Identify and Develop opportunity for Systems upgrades, expansions or modifications as needed.
- Plan and perform the Maintenance and Repair of the Systems, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
- Coordinate and manage vendors and contractors for the procurement, installation and maintenance of the Systems.
- Manage project processes, progress claims, service invoices, prepare purchase order and delivery order.
- Provide technical training for customers and end users.

PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- MALAYSIAN ONLY. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering/Science.
- 1 – 3 years field and practical working experience on the equipment/machines. However, Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred knowledge: Technically competent with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) services, equipment and system troubleshooting.
- Preferred Skills: Electrical and control system, water treatment chemicals and systems, cooling tower and industrial filtration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Network Operations:

2) Engineering Support:

3) Active Network Elements Management:
- Lead the configuration, installation, and maintenance of active network elements such as eNodeB, transmission (TX) wired and wireless equipment, routers, switches, amplifiers, and signal processors to ensure efficient data transmission and network operation.
4) Passive Infrastructure Management:
- Manage passive infrastructure components including cables, connectors, fiber optic distribution panels, enclosures, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) elements such as diesel generators (gensets) for backup power, air conditioning units for climate control, and surveillance cameras for physical security, to facilitate signal transmission, connectivity, and provide backup power within the network infrastructure.
5) Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute network maintenance and upgrade projects, including site surveys, equipment procurement, installation, integration, and acceptance testing, ensuring timely completion and compliance with project requirements.
6) Site Visits and Working at Heights:
Conduct on-site visits to various locations, including cell towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks at heights, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to guarantee the safety of personnel during elevated work activities.
