The Principal Mechanical Engineer is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and Design as per Design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards

**Essential Qualifications and Education:**

+ Lead the Discipline engineering design of the assigned work area and complete it within the planned schedule and budget, in accordance with standards, MOR, and project-specific procedures and to a high professional standard

**Job Summary**
Provide successful delivery of engineering services to the client on the agreed site(s), ensuring performance of the site from an uptime, quality, compliance and health and safety perspective with a multi-disciplinary technical team.

· Monitor and report on site mechanical and cooling capacities ensuring that all services are operating within design limits.

· Coordinate and prepare change requests using systems provided in accordance with customer change policies and service level expectations.
· Management of planned maintenance, repairs and upgrade, activities ensuring that all works have an appropriate supervision structure in place. This includes attendance outside of normal working hours at any time requested by CBRE/client.

**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with the core team to understand, develop, and update data center mechanical designs, starting from basis of design (BOD) to issue for constructions (IFC) documents, for new data center project build-outs and major infrastructure upgrades to all levels of testing and commissioning works.
+ Manage mechanical engineering issues during concept design, BOD, detailed design, and IFC, and support procurement in SOW preparation and bidding technical clarification.
+ Be accountable for key mechanical equipment manufacturing monitoring, delivery, and installation on site. Identify and resolve issues raised by the cross-functional teams.
+ Update and maintain the internal design specifications, drawings, and standards in accordance with the latest configurations and include all 'lessons learned' in relation to all equipment.
+ Develop next generation mechanical system products to meet company long-term strategies.

The purpose of the Rotating Equipment Execution Engineer is to positively contribute towards value-adding analysis, delivery of activities, studies, troubleshooting and the management of threats and opportunities from execution aspect by fully using your engineering knowledge in an integrated team set up. You play a significant role in HSSE by ensuring planning and execution aspects on major maintenance on Rotating Equipment are accounted for in the various processes used to ensure safety and integrity of our asset. You capitalize on your technical knowledge, experience, SEAM processes and integration skills to enable the SMEP objectives. You generate value and protect the asset (balancing out increased production while weighing out risks). You are always aware of the facility's capacity and limitations, and by contributing to the Natural Team, you enable the success of the Natural team and SMEP. The effective usage of SEAM - PME, PTA, MOC and manage project processes in your delivery is a key enabler for success. You continue to the effective execution of minor capex which are mechanical and RE related during operating phase of the plant.
It is with the expectation that you will assume the role of event lead during the RMP TA on demand to oversee all works which are TA execution related from planning, resource loading aspect till TA completion.
Natural Team: Execution NT. You are part of the Execution natural team and will contribute by supporting the safe execution of activities offshore primarily in an campaign approach. You are based onshore, but mobilize offshore as required during the execution period such as Major PM/CM etc. Delivery of these objectives are via the SEAM process: PME (Major) Turnarounds.
- Strong personal leadership and self management with the ability to collaborate well with a diverse population. Motivated individual with a positive attitude.
-Regular interface with peers in related teams, disciplines and processes. Occasional interface with GM-2 and above on request.
- Support engagement with external stakeholders relevant to the delivery of the Natural goals . Stakeholders include but not limited to Global SMEs, JV Partners, Regulators and customers as required.
Experience requirement:
+ Graduate with an Engineering Degree with at least 10 years experiences and above in Mechanical & Rotating Execution work
+ Experiences in Commissioning and Startup either in Greenfield or Brownfield will be added advantage
