We are looking for a results-driven Program Manager to oversee and manage strategic customer programs within a high-precision CNC contract manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring program success across the full product lifecycle, from Rapid Prototyping (RPM) and New Product Introduction (NPI) to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM),while driving revenue, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
The Program Manager will manage customer contracts, RFQs, customer dashboards, revenue performance, cost negotiations, NRE claims, commercial claimand will play a key role in building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Program Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, owning execution, communication, and escalations.
- Attend and lead regular customer calls and program review meetings to ensure project alignment and responsiveness.
- Manage and present customer dashboards covering:
- Delivery performance
- Forecast accuracy
- Pull in orders
- Customer Commit
- PO Management
- Build readiness status
- Build trust and customer confidence through responsive, transparent engagement and solution-focused communication.
2. Revenue & Profitability Management
- Manage Revenue performance for assigned customer programs, including:
- Monitoring actual vs. forecasted revenue ( Monthly & Quarterly) vs Budget
- Driving in getting more volumes from the customers.
- Tracking margin and cost variance.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations to support accurate monthly billing, revenue recognition, and Commercial Claims
3. Contract, RFQ & Commercial Management
- Manage and review customer contracts, terms, and agreements in alignment with company capabilities and profitability goals.
- Ensure timely coordination and submission of RFQs, quotes, and proposal packages.
- Drive cost and commercial negotiations related to NRE, tooling, price adjustments, and scope changes.
- Handle commercial claims and clarify cost deviations or quality/delivery-related disputes.
- Track and support contract renewals, addendums, and change orders.
4. Project Execution – RPM, NPI, HVM
- Drive seamless execution of Rapid Prototyping, New Product Introductions (NPI), and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) programs.
- Ensure programs meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) and conform to customer quality and technical requirements.
- Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams: production, engineering, supply chain, planning, quality, and logistics.
- Managing kickoff meeting of NPI/RPM Programs to ensure 4M readiness and all required data including following up on FAIR reports and all related technical data submitted to customer per agreed lead time. This isto ensure NPI program is successfully completed and moving on to HVM volumes ramp plan.
5. Performance & Delivery Monitoring
- Monitor and own delivery, yield, and cost KPIs for all customer programs.
- Drive improvements in:
- Delivery performance (OTD ≥98%)
- Lead time adherence
- Program gross margins
- Lead regular internal readiness and customer delivery meetings to review status, issues, and corrective actions.
6. Risk & Escalation Management
- Identify and escalate risks proactively, with defined mitigation plans.
- Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented for any delivery or cost concerns.
- Maintain proactive risk registers and drive continuous improvement with operations and engineering teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree/masters in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management or program management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or JIRA.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
