Procurement team is responsible for:
- Powering our operations by securing the best-value vendors and services in the market — from gadgets to store renovations.
- Ensuring smooth and cost-efficient movement of goods through land, air, or sea — keeping supply steady and timely.
- Supporting our ecosystem of brands (Xiaomi, Dreame, Mova, Uwant, Levoit, 70mai, etc.) by delivering what's needed, when it's needed, at the best price possible.
- Sourcing for the most cost-effective vendors in the market — whether it's physical products, renovation services, printing, signage, etc.
- Requesting, reviewing, and comparing quotations to ensure optimal value and quality.
- Deep diving into understanding product and service specifications to ensure fit-for-purpose procurement.
- Liaising directly with manufacturers and suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.
- Handling all logistics documentation for both local and international purchases — including sea freight, air freight, and courier shipments.
- Coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to monitor and ensure timely deliveries.
- Tracking and updating on delivery schedules, shipment status, and potential delays, ensuring all parties are aligned.
- Good command (both spoken and written) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin or any other dialects would be a great plus point
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills — you're confident with vendors, suppliers, and forwarders alike.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
