The Infrastructure IT Manager for Spirit AeroSystems Malaysia is responsible for overseeing local IT services, contributing to the development and implementation of the International Sites IT strategy, and ensuring the integration and compatibility of all systems with Spirit AeroSystems Malaysia’s growth objectives. This role also ensures cost-efficient support for legacy systems and compliance with service delivery standards. IT integration experience from mergers or acquisitions is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Local IT Operations & Services: Lead and manage all local IT support services, infrastructure, application development, systems, records, and inventory for both onsite and remote operations. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to meet business needs. Budget & Cost Management: Plan, manage, and monitor the local IT budget, ensuring alignment with approved forecasts and compliance with corporate financial procedures. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop, implement, and regularly update disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations and data integrity. IT Governance & Process Development: Define and implement local IT policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with global IT governance, security controls, and regulatory requirements. Manage local and international IT service providers, ensuring service levels (SLAs) are consistently met and vendor relationships are optimized. Oversee IT leasing and outsourcing agreements with efficiency and accountability. Performance Metrics & Reporting: Establish, monitor, and report on IT KPIs and metrics to ensure service excellence and support business objectives. Compliance & Audit: Ensure full compliance with internal policies, corporate standards, and local legal/regulatory frameworks. Support internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions. Lead, mentor, and develop the local IT team. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, performance excellence, and technical competency. Actively participate in the global IT leadership community under the CIO. Support global IT strategies, enterprise computing initiatives, and digital transformation goals. Align local hardware and software with Spirit’s enterprise-wide IT solutions, ensuring scalability, standardization, and value delivery. Strategic IT Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and execute the local IT strategy that supports long-term business goals. Facility IT Setup & Expansion: Lead the end-to-end IT setup for new facilities within Malaysia, ensuring seamless infrastructure implementation and operational readiness. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred). IT integration experience from mergers or acquisitions is essential for this role. 8–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing IT operations, infrastructure, application development, and service delivery. Strong knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance (e.g., ISO, GDPR, local data laws). Familiarity with ERP system (SAP ECC6 & S/4HANA), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and application development technologies. Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. The Practice – A Brief Sketch

You will be part of Strategy & Consulting (S&C) Global Network High-Tech (GN-HT) semiconductor practice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on all areas of the semiconductor value chain: fabless, IDMs/foundries, OEMs and OSAT companies.

Lead market research & analysis to identify trends & opportunities in semiconductor industry. Analyse client’s business, market, competitors and make appropriate inferences. Also, interpret data in context of industry and company specific issues.

Provide support to the client facing teams and/or handle client projects directly.

Contribute significantly to areas such as analyses of client’s problem statements/technology trends, building assets and accelerators, developing GTM strategies etc., thereby bringing value to the client; The reports that you generate will be incorporated into our client reports

Participate in RFPs and execute client projects

Participate in the development of thought leadership content, including white papers & presentations, on semiconductor topics

Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in semiconductor industry (working for an IDM/foundry in manufacturing space) and/or management consulting handling semiconductor clients

Prior experience in customer management and/or conducting research and preparing client ready reports

Post MBA experience in one or more of the following:

Corporate Strategy, Business Transformation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organization Strategy, Pricing & Profit Optimization, GTM, Growth & Innovation, Strategic Planning, Sales & Distribution, Consumer Marketing, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc. - in semiconductor industry.

Information Technology Operations Manager Information Technology Operations Manager

Oversees IT operations in Malaysia, supporting office & manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical and leadership skills, ensuring the stability and security of IT systems while mentoring the local team. This role will also assist the IDT Director in Singapore in managing ERP, Cloud Computing, network, security, and helpdesk services across Malaysia OBUs.

Technical Leadership & Operations

- Oversee and manage IT infrastructure, ERP, Cloud Computing, network, security, and helpdesk operations in Malaysia.

- Ensure system uptime, network reliability, and IT security compliance.

- Support ERP deployment and enhancements, working closely with business and IT teams.

- Monitor and maintain IT systems for performance, scalability, and security.

- Lead and mentor a small team of two IT support staff, ensuring professional growth and efficiency.

- Act as a technical escalation point for the team and provide hands-on troubleshooting when required.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT team.

Regional Collaboration & Strategy

- Work closely with the IDT Director to align IT strategies with regional business needs.

- Ensure IT initiatives support operational efficiency and manufacturing digital transformation.

- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.

- Assist in IT budgeting, procurement, and asset management for Malaysia

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Information Technology, or related field.

- 8 to 10 years of IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, cloud computing (Azure), networking, IT security, and helpdesk operations

- Proven ability to manage multi-site IT operations and support regional IT strategies.

- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

- Experience in mentoring and leading small IT teams.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with local teams and regional leadership

- A mentor who can improve and develop the local IT team.

- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a must as you will be working closely with our counterparts in China.

Certifications (Preferred):

- PMP (Project Management Professional) – for structured project management.

- Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification – for cloud infrastructure expertise.

- Information Security Management Certification – for IT security management.

To evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of IT controls, cybersecurity measures, and regulatory compliance within the organization. The role supports GIA’s mission to provide independent assurance over IT governance, risk management, and internal controls, particularly within the payment services ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities :-

1. IT Audit Planning & Execution

• Plan, execute, and document IT audits covering infrastructure, applications, databases, IT project implementation and cybersecurity.
• Perform audits in accordance with risk-based audit plans and relevant professional standards.
• Identify control weaknesses and propose practical, risk-based recommendations.

2. Regulatory Compliance

• Independently assess IT-related compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulatory requirements, with a focus on RMiT, MAPD, and MCIPD, to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and identify potential control gaps.
• Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls implemented to meet the requirements of PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, and other applicable industry standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of management’s oversight and controls over IT-related risks, including those associated with cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, change management, and third-party service providers, to ensure risks are appropriately identified, mitigated, and monitored.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and the robustness of business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
• Provide independent assurance on the organization's IT Security Risk Assessment (ITSA) process, ensuring aligns with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

4. Reporting & Follow-up

• Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable findings and root cause analysis.
• Present audit outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and relevant committees.
• Monitor remediation progress and verify closure of audit issues.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Liaise with IT, Information Security, CISO, and Compliance departments.
• Provide advisory input on IT risk, control design, and compliance matters.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the payment industry.

Job Requirements :-

• Candidate must possess with a minimum five (5) years of working experience in IT audit, preferably in financial services or payment industry.
• Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure, security controls and payment systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Education Requirements :-

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field – CISA, CISM, CISSP and ISO 27001.

Information Technology Operations Manager

Oversees IT operations in Malaysia, supporting office & manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical and leadership skills, ensuring the stability and security of IT systems while mentoring the local team. This role will also assist the IDT Director in Singapore in managing ERP, Cloud Computing, network, security, and helpdesk services across Malaysia OBUs. Technical Leadership & Operations - Oversee and manage IT infrastructure, ERP, Cloud Computing, network, security, and helpdesk operations in Malaysia. - Ensure system uptime, network reliability, and IT security compliance. - Support ERP deployment and enhancements, working closely with business and IT teams. - Monitor and maintain IT systems for performance, scalability, and security. - Lead and mentor a small team of two IT support staff, ensuring professional growth and efficiency. - Act as a technical escalation point for the team and provide hands-on troubleshooting when required. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT team. Regional Collaboration & Strategy - Work closely with the IDT Director to align IT strategies with regional business needs. - Ensure IT initiatives support operational efficiency and manufacturing digital transformation. - Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness. - Assist in IT budgeting, procurement, and asset management for Malaysia Requirements: - Bachelor of Information Technology, or related field. - 8 to 10 years of IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment - Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, cloud computing (Azure), networking, IT security, and helpdesk operations - Proven ability to manage multi-site IT operations and support regional IT strategies. - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments. - Experience in mentoring and leading small IT teams. - Excellent communication skills to interact with local teams and regional leadership - A mentor who can improve and develop the local IT team. - Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a
