As part of the project team, you will be responsible to coordinate the activities related to the construction of our new projects.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES
Manage and coordinate all on-site Contractors/Subcontractors activities for compliance with the CPM schedule and monitors and enforces compliance with subcontract requirements, Implement the Project Construction Execution plan.
Takes necessary actions to meet project budget and schedule requirements.
Coordinates the Construction Completion walkthrough and the Complete handover.
Prepare quality checklist, plan, coordinate, Inspect, and report to Construction Manager.
Prepare the daily report, weekly report reporting to the Construction Manager.
Coordinate on-site meeting on daily and weekly meeting.
Promote and ensure that the procedure is complied with company EHS policy as well as EHS planning and management.
Monitor on site construction activities to comply with the EHS plan and procedure, report and tracking the incident including near miss.
Review construction drawings and constructability input/feedback.
Check Punchlist, follow up, closeout prior to handover.
Support an as-built drawings/documents preparation and follow up.
Supervise materials delivery downloading, tracking, following and report.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Min 1-2 years experiences in Solar PV project construction management (LSS, C&I, FPV) and renewable energy construction management or Project management.
Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical.
Experiences in EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors management.
Experiences in on-site supervision for the Solar PV or any Power Plant construction.
Experiences in Substation and transmission line construction management.
Experiences in QA/QC for the Solar PV or any Power Plant and Interconnection work construction.
Familiar with TNB/SEB/SESB standards and requirements.
OSHA training, experiences in on site EHS management.
Excellent in IT skills, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Fluent in English communication skills, ability to speak mandarin will be an advantage.
Must be able to travel or relocate to project sites in West Malaysia / Sarawak / Sabah / Brunei.

Main Accountabilities

Prepares the Bid Inquiry packages and the list of potential bidders and obtains the relevant qualifications in coordination with the Subcontracting section (for the contractual aspects).
Follows up on Bid Inquiries and relevant answers by keeping record of the relevant bid bulletins and prepares the recommendation for final negotiations/award during the bidding phase, in coordination with the Subcontracting section (for the contractual aspects).
Prepares the general Method statement related to general site condition, for mechanical erection works and relevant price list and contributes to definition and design of Temporary Construction Facilities and Camp if applicable.
Prepares the Project Construction deliverables list upon indication from the Project Construction Manager.
Supports Project planning for all activities relevant to all Construction deliverables.
Supports Project Construction Manager for the definition of Construction Measurement System database by daily coordination with the Project Team.
About you
Possession of a BSc in Construction or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (any Fields) together with a minimum of ten (10) years construction field experience with at least eight (08) years supervising projects in the capacity of General Foremen/Superintendent/Construction Manager.
Possession of a Diploma in Construction together with a minimum of ten (10) years construction field experience – with at least eight (08) years supervising projects in the capacity of General Foremen/Superintendent/Construction Manager.
Any equivalent combination of qualifications, training and relevant construction working experience will be considered.
It is a must to have knowledge and experience in Home Office Construction activities – minimum five (05) years.
Experience in Modularization activities and modularized projects.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Projects.
Proven construction engineering and managerial skills.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In‑depth knowledge of the management of construction sites from commencement to handover.
In‑depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects.
In‑depth knowledge of OSH regulations and practice.
In‑depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and concepts.
