Job Description
The Production Engineer, will apply engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. In this role, you will provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement and project management skills and be a contributing member of a team on issues related to the operational domain area. You will participate in the guidance and oversight of external third parties that are utilized at the site. You will improve the stability, capability and availability of processes while reducing variability and mitigating risks in the operational area. **Key Accountabilities**
+ Collect and analyze operational data and trends and develop recommendations and plans to improve the performance and reporting process of manufacturing equipment and processes and ensure consistent monitoring and early warning indicators.
+ Help plan and schedule maintenance of plant systems using reliability models and predictive technologies in collaboration with maintenance leadership.
+ Monitor and manage variable and fixed costs at the site in collaboration with internal technology and finance operations stakeholders.
+ Help plan and monitor production shutdowns ensuring legal and preventive maintenance compliance of manufacturing equipment.
+ Help process engineer analyze capital expenditures and project designs to find more efficient, cost-effective approaches, which promotes higher quality and reliable outcomes.
+ Serve as point of contact and interface with third party personnel to assist with setting priorities, monitoring safety and improving their skills over time.
+ Connect with relevant personnel from other departments within the site or across the business to benchmark practices and assist in the creation of strategies.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a chemical engineering and related field.
+ Preferable 1-2 years experience in palm oil and fractionation.

**1. Manufacturing Process Development**
(i) Define, review and confirm the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.
(ii) Coordinate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review, and initiate Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) with core team members.
(iii) Prepare documentations and process specifications for production.
(iv) Lead team in identification, tracking and resolution of engineering issues using the Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA) form.
(v) Continuous manufacturing process improvement with TEOA tools for cost reduction.
**2. Assembly Tool, Fixture and Equipment Development**
(i) Evaluate new tool, fixture, and equipment demand/cost for new projects.
(ii) Design and review the tool, fixture and equipment with core team members meeting TE engineering and EHS requirement.
(iii) Upload all tooling prints to TE data management system(DM.TEC, PDMLink, etc.)
(iv) Discuss and review details of tool/fixture/equipment with outside supplier.
(v) Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new tool/fixture/equipment.

(i) Condition all tool, fixture and equipment, lead the tool/fixture/equipment qualification by running samples or LVM.

(iii) Coordinate pilot run for new products and solve engineering issues, make sure the manufacturing process capability meet engineering, quality and customer requirement.

Coach, train and develop operator and technician in order to ensure their technique could be succeed and get continuous upgraded.
