**Collaboration & Compliance**
+ Work closely with marketing, medical, sales, and regulatory teams for seamless coordination.
+ Ensure all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
**Reporting & Insights**
+ Prepare regular reports on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
+ Present business insights and strategic business solution to management.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in **Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Marketing,** or related field.
+ Minimum **5 years' experience** in pharmaceutical sales or key account management (Private & Government Key Hospitals)
+ Experience in **Hematology, Oncology, or Neurology** is an advantage.
+ Strong strategic thinking, planning, and negotiation skills.
+ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Familiarity with **tender processes, LPO, and Lampiran Q** preferred.
+ Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and compliance standards.
+ Willing to travel outstation as business required

About the role
Assistant Key Account Manager - On-Premise to support the growth of our premium wine portfolio within Malaysia's hospitality and F&B sector. This role involves managing key accounts, driving sales performance, and enhancing brand presence across on-premise venues such as restaurants, hotels, bars, and lounges.
Sales & Account Development
+ Drive sales and achieve assigned revenue targets for the on-premise wine segment.
+ Develop and grow business relationships with key on-premise accounts across major cities.
+ Negotiate listings, wine-by-the-glass placements, and promotional support to enhance visibility and volume.
+ Collaborate closely with distributors, sales representatives, and internal teams to execute aligned sales strategies.
Trade Engagement & Activation
+ Plan and execute trade marketing activities, wine tastings, staff trainings, and product launches in outlets.
+ Work with outlet partners to activate in-venue promotions and consumer engagement programs.
+ Represent the brand portfolio at trade shows, wine dinners, and key industry events.
Market Analysis & Reporting
+ Track and report on account performance, outlet feedback, and competitor activity.
+ Provide regular sales updates, forecasting, and market insights to the management team.
+ Analyze trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and improvement in channel strategy
About you
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
+ 2-4 years of experience in key account management, preferably in wine, alcohol, or FMCG.
+ Passion for wine with basic wine knowledge (WSET certification is a plus).
+ Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**How you create impact**
+ To directly manage Key Account(s), in accordance with agreed targets, goals + company guidelines, eliciting customer needs + selling our key products + services.
+ To ensure understanding of all customer organizations, business model and decision-making processes
+ To engage KN network proactively and work closely with the NA KAMs in Japan.
+ To negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the business units (BU), ensuring rate sheets are documented + maintained as needed by the BU's.
+ To ensure compliance with our sales management processes + systems, ensuring correct + timely updates in our customer relationship system (CRM)
+ To monitor monthly performance against set targets ensuring that immediate actions address deviations.
+ To ensure that account plan(s) are in place based on internal processes + templates which are signed off by the respective sales manager.
+ Manage & support efficiently all the RFQ's by obtaining strong support from the Trade Management / Pricing teams.
+ To effectively hand over + transition new business into operations to ensure that customer requirements + company's commitments are met.
+ To conduct regular + structured review sessions with assigned customers including; process for continuous improvement + innovation, review of customer strategy + priorities to deliver operational excellence.

+ Language Requirement: Excellent communication and influencing/ negotiation skills and Japanese Speaking
+ Client Focus: Will develop and manage relationships with Japanese customers
+ Industry Background: Freight forwarding or logistics experience is essential
+ Communication Skills: Able to engage directly with shippers and understand their requirements. Able to bring new business in the organization.
+ Build up relationship internal and external; highly organized with the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast moving environment and drive performance and build differentiators.
+ Ability of managing multiple tasks under time pressure with positive attitude

Job Summary

Key responsibilities include leading and growing Pro-Retailer network for Home & Distribution power products . You will also execute business plans, drive promotional activities, and manage sales targets by engaging directly with authorized pro-retailers across assigned territories. Your role will be responsible for expanding point-of-sale coverage, delivering product training, and promoting transactional offers to boost sell-out performance.

Job Description

  • Execute business plan, strategies and promotional activities.
  • Manage authorized company's pro-retailers by organizing sales visit within assigned territory and number of point of sales.
  • Meet pro-retailers in person, pitching products & services and promoting the companys offerings/marketing program face-to-face.
  • Responsible for carrying and meeting sales targets in addition to managing the number of point of sales, which means they are tasked with achieving specific sales goals or quotas through their direct interactions with pro-retailers.
  • Persuasively promote the companys products/offerings to meet or exceed the set sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with pro-retailers by providing support, information, and guidance for company's products.
  • Territory management - POS expansion all Regions - to recruit new pro- retailers.
  • Promoting the company's transactional offers.
  • Support authorized pro-retailers with product knowledge and training.
  • Drive sell-out and ensuring offer attractiveness in the Pro-Retails channel.

Job Requirements

  • Min Diploma/Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or any other related discipline.
  • Preferably with above 3 years of working experience in channel/ distribution especially in managing pro-retailers . Candidates from other industries also may apply.
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage products is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record in electrical/ modern trade channel or other Tier 2 industries.
  • Territory / channel management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and account development skill.
  • Demonstrated experience in channel marketing and handling sell through (sell out) program.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skill.
  • Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin. Knowledge of Cantonese and Hokkien dialects is an added advantage.
  • Able to work with different levels of stakeholders.
