Data Analyst III role consults with internal stakeholders to understand problems, collect and analyze data to support data driven business decisions. This role uses data tools to collate, model, interpret, develop visualizations/information products, and communicate to the business. Specifically, individuals in this role will execute on projects/initiatives with high complexity independently. The role will be on shift hour ideally from 3PM to 12AM.

  • Data Strategy & Management: Oversee data retrieval, validation, and migration processes, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency. Manage critical data requests and provide insights that drive business decisions.
  • Dashboard Development & Reporting: Design, maintain, and optimize user-friendly dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Able to answer “why” instead of “what” had happened.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance business intelligence operations through automation and workflow optimizations
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between business teams and technical teams, effectively gathering requirements and translating them into data solutions. Manage priorities across departments to align with strategic goals.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Data Literacy & Enablement: Promote data-driven decision-making by educating stakeholders on data interpretation, visualization best practices, and self-service analytics tools.

Requirements

  • Above 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in Operations Data Management, with a keen eye for detail and operational insights.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL including data ingestion and scheduler.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Excel/Google Sheets for data visualization and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, relational databases, and ETL processes.

  • Core client: You will have a core client - which you will work on for multiple markets.

  • Work with the regional client team to analyse business requests and partner with stakeholders to provide a strategic solution data and analytics into actionable plans and tactics at regional and local market level.
  • Work with business support, project management and technical experts as required across local markets to translate identified data into effective dashboarding solutions and reporting projects.
  • Design, Build, Test, Debug, Monitor, and Troubleshoot various dashboarding solutions.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
  • A patient, flexible and team-oriented approach is essential. You will need to work well under pressure and be able to quickly understand problems and be capable of providing innovative, pragmatic, and workable solutions.
  • Experience with Dashboard & Reporting. Experience with Scripting and Programming (to an extent) Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS development skills is an added plus.
Qualifications
  • A minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in dashboard and static reports design, development, testing, and support, preferably in an advertising/media agency

  • Well versed in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS

Role

Job Title: Data Business Intelligence (Mandarin Speaker)

Reports to: Operations Director

Role Overview

Responsible for analyzing customer behavior, operational data, and marketing performance, leveraging data insights to drive product optimization and business growth. Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to provide actionable analysis results and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection & Cleaning
    • Gather raw data from multiple channels, including game databases, user behavior logs, backend systems, and third-party platforms (e.g., advertising platforms, payment platforms).
    • Perform data cleaning, standardization, and preprocessing to ensure data quality and consistency.
  2. Player Behavior & Operations Analysis
    • Analyze user lifecycle metrics (DAU, MAU, retention rate, payment rate, churn rate, etc.) and identify key influencing factors.
    • Track user in-game behavior paths, feature usage, conversion funnels, and evaluate the effectiveness of game design.
    • Assess the impact of new feature releases, event execution, and version updates on player behavior and revenue (A/B testing analysis).
  3. Revenue & Market Analysis
    • Analyze recharge data, advertising ROI, and other key business metrics to identify revenue trends and potential risks.
    • Track advertising performance (e.g., user acquisition cost, ROAS, retention, conversion) and provide data support to the marketing team.
    • Deliver regional and channel-based revenue/traffic performance comparisons to support operational decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of collecting, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of information.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and/or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.
