About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural/Civil Engineer or Manager to lead and execute the civil and structural aspects of our data center construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and timely completion of our facilities, from ground-breaking to final handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all on-site civil and structural works for data center projects, including earthworks, piling, foundations, structural steel, and building works.
• Review structural design drawings, specifications, and method statements for constructability and compliance.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources for CSA packages.
• Lead a site team, including supervisors and engineers, ensuring work is performed to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, architectural, and client teams to ensure seamless integration of all disciplines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design and specifications.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues, managing RFIs and variations effectively.
• Ensure all works adhere to local authority regulations and required standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• For Manager level: 8+ years of experience, with proven experience managing full CSA packages for large-scale industrial or data center projects.
• For Engineer level: 3-5 years of relevant site-based experience.
• Strong knowledge of local construction practices and authority submission processes.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer will provide essential on-site technical support and construction coordination for civil engineering works within a large-scale infrastructure and industrial plant setup. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, safety, and timely execution of all civil aspects of the project from foundational stages through completion.

• Provide comprehensive on-site technical support and coordination for civil engineering activities, including site preparation, earthworks, foundation treatment, temporary structures, roads, drainage systems, and other general infrastructure.
• Review construction drawings, actively participate in design optimization discussions, and prepare detailed technical proposals, construction plans, and technical briefings.
• Monitor construction progress diligently, supervise the implementation of quality and safety standards, and promptly resolve any technical issues that arise on site.
• Coordinate civil works interfaces and technical matters effectively with design institutes, supervision consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in the preparation of tender documentation, review material selections, and provide expert technical advice and quantity estimations.
• Assist in the compilation and maintenance of project documentation, including technical briefings, construction logs, quality inspection records, concealed works acceptance, and completion handover documents.
• Take part in project acceptance procedures, site handovers, and reviews of technical changes.
• Perform other civil-related tasks as assigned by the project leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience:
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in large-scale civil construction, industrial park infrastructure development, or port engineering projects.
• Demonstrated familiarity with site grading, foundation treatment, piling, temporary construction methods, and drainage systems.
• Proven ability to independently draft construction technical plans, critically review drawings, and provide effective on-site construction guidance.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, standard Office software, and relevant measurement tools/software.
• Knowledge & Abilities: Well-versed in construction standards, safety regulations, and acceptance criteria; possesses strong on-site management skills.
• Certifications (Preferred): Holder of a First-Class Construction Engineer (Civil) license or an equivalent Intermediate-level professional title.
• Language & Project Exposure (Preferred): Priority given to candidates with experience in Southeast Asia or other overseas projects; good English communication skills are preferred.

PROJECT ENGINEER C&S

Responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects ensuring designs meet safety and quality standards while adhering to projects timelines and budgets. This role requires strong technical expertise in civil and structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and affective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.

• To assist the Project Manager in ensuring that the construction works are carried out in accordance with the construction drawings and specification.
• Responsible for the inspection of the workmanship and compliance to the method of statement of construction.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve any discrepancies in the consultants' drawings.
• Ensuring contractorsâ compliance with contract, plans, specifications, regulations, and standards.
• To monitor and maintain record of work progress at site according to work schedule.
• Keeping all test record or documents such as as-built drawing, method of statements, shop drawing, etc.
