We are seeking a qualified and experiencedCivil Engineerto be based full-time at the project site. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in civil engineering works across the full lifecycle of an infrastructure or energy project from site preparation, earthworks, foundation works, drainage, access roads, and structural works through to completion and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all civil works on-site, including earthworks, piling, drainage, fencing, internal roads, and structural foundations for solar arrays and substations.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, environmental requirements, and project timeline.
- Liaise with EPCC contractor, consultants, and internal project team to resolve design or site execution issues.
- Verify progress claims, variation orders, and prepare site reports for project management and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure quality control and timely execution of civil works in line with the construction schedule.
- Coordinate site inspections with authorities, consultants, and quality assurance teams.
- Support project commissioning and handover activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards and statutory compliance on site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of civil engineering experience in infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is a strong advantage).
- Proven track record in managing site-based civil works across the project lifecycle.
- Strong site supervision, reporting, and contractor management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently under pressure and in remote project environments.
