Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Chemical Engineer to manage and optimize chemical processes, systems, and safety protocols across our facilities portfolio. This role combines chemical engineering expertise with facilities management to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations of chemical systems including water treatment, HVAC chemicals, and specialized industrial processes.
Primary focus of this role is on system reliability in compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, safety and system requirements .
In addition to sustaining the smooth operation of RODI/WWT System, the Chemical Engineers roles and responsibilities shall be, but not limited to:
Support the operation and maintenance of Gasses for KM2 FCCSP i.e. Nitrogen, Argon , Oxygen and Forming gas.
Support downstream system i.e. Deflux reliability and coordinate system upgrades.
Collaborate with System Owners on equipment health audits, data consolidation and analysis.
Support KM1 SDx Project on RODI/WWT System
Conduct audits to ensure Work Method are precisely executed and prevent interruptions
Perform QAQC audits to ensure conformance to operation standards and specifications
Coordinate Test & Commissioning including review and buy-off the tests
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Certified in CePIETSO- PCP will be an added advantage
2-3 years of experience in chemical processes, preferably in facilities or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of water treatment chemistry and processes
Experience with chemical dosing systems and automation controls
Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques and laboratory procedures
Understanding of HVAC chemical treatments and corrosion inhibitors
Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards

As the Chemical Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the existing and emerging chemical compliance obligations throughout the Micron network and translating those into requirements for global standards and procedures, in partnership with the site teams. You will also be responsible for implementing to various chemical compliance actions including planning and executing experiments with team members throughout the company and analyzing the data. Participation in external consortia supporting chemical compliance obligations is also likely. A team member in this role will demonstrate their collaboration and communication skills to work closely with the legal department, site operations teams, process engineers, facilities, procurement, and suppliers as needed to ensure chemical compliance. Responsibilities and Tasks Monitoring global chemical compliance obligations! Planning and executing experiments Analyzing data Working with team members to translate compliance obligations into Micron requirements through specifications or other documentation Participate in chemical compliance consortia Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or Engineering Chemical regulatory basic knowledge required Environmental, health, safety, or sustainability preferred Semiconductor background preferred Assembly test knowledge preferred Key Skills & Competencies Organized, analytical, meticulous, and strong focus on results! Strong written and verbal communication in English Spirit of teamwork and shared responsibility Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations, including internal and external, and across geographies to understand how compliance obligations impact the sites and translate them into actionable plans Project management skills including establishing and tracking to schedules, articulating dependencies, articulating requirements, documenting deliverables and key decisions Proven facilitation skills including the ability to influence others Flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment as chemicals, regulations, and processes change Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Travel
