- Execute projects assigned by the Project Manager (PM) or Assistant Project Manager (APM) within the approved budget and contractual timeline.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to clearly define the scope of supply. Review the project budget and request adjustments if the initial allocation is insufficient for successful execution.
- Identify required components, determine their needed-by dates, and initiate reservation or ordering through SAP for procurement by the Purchasing Department.
- Ensure timely handover of all relevant documentation and project information to other departments, and obtain their committed timelines for tasks under their responsibility.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the customer upon project commencement, addressing all technical clarifications, documentation, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning (T&C), and project handover—excluding commercial matters.
- Conduct site visits to identify any undocumented limitations affecting product design, delivery, or installation.
- Attend site meetings to coordinate project execution with relevant stakeholders.
- Alert the PM/APM and Sales team of any additional requirements or scope deviations resulting from unforeseen changes or customer requests prior to making any commitments.
- Coordinate with the Sales team and Finance Controller to initiate billing according to the contractual billing schedule at the respective project milestones.
- Support the Technical Administration Executive in gathering and reviewing documentation required for submissions to DOSH for design approval and load testing.
- Act as liaison between the customer’s site personnel and the internal installation team to ensure compliance with site safety protocols during installation and T&C.
- Report any significant deviations from the planned project budget to the PM/APM.
- Provide mentorship and training to new Project Engineers as assigned.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the PM or APM in relation to project execution.
- Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 3 to 4 years experience in project handling / management.
- Experience/Knowledge of site safety requirement, and installation process.
- This role is only for short term 6 months contract.
