About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Leader to drive our agriculture technology projects. This role requires someone who is both technically competent and people-oriented, with strong skills in demonstrations, presentations, and team leadership. You will lead projects from planning to execution, ensuring targets are met, while working closely with internal teams, customers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage agriculture technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
• Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for clients, partners, and government bodies.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders, customers, and at events to promote products and solutions.
• Provide basic technical support and guidance, bridging communication between technical specialists and customers.
• Travel frequently across Malaysia (and occasionally overseas) to support projects, demonstrations, and customer engagements.
• Build, manage, and motivate a project team to achieve performance and sales/implementation targets.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present results to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, operations) to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities, and provide feedback to enhance products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in project management, team leadership, or relevant field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; confident speaking to large groups.
• Basic technical knowledge (agriculture machinery, drones, smart farming, or related technologies preferred).
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve project or sales targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 30–50% of the time).
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to field conditions and customer needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with project management tools is a plus.

Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing technical and operational talent. Experience leading teams through organizational growth, change management, and strategic transformations. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Strategic & Operational Expertise — Deep understanding of delivery methodologies and operational excellence frameworks with experience implementing them at scale. Experience establishing team structures, processes, and governance that enable consistent execution. Track record of building measurement systems and using data to drive team performance and organizational improvements. Strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation across multiple teams.
• Organizational Development — Experience designing and implementing organizational structures that support both delivery speed and operational stability. Proven ability to create and execute talent development programs and succession planning. Track record of building strong team cultures that emphasize both performance and professional growth. Experience leading change management initiatives and driving adoption of new processes and methodologies.
• Communication & Influence — Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels. Experience leading executive reporting, strategic planning sessions, and organizational communications. You will play a huge role in assisting the development of Globibo's market presence from the ground up by driving new businesses & building a pool of clientele. You shall focus your attention on extending our sales outreach with regards to our services (translation, interpretation & training) to new organizations, industries & segments.

(A) Lead Management (30%)

• Researching organizations and industry players to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Identifying the needs of other companies and their key stakeholders/ decision-makers
• Contacting potential clients via email & cold calls with customized value offerings to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Attending conferences, meetings, and Industry events
• Horizontal Sales outreach to new contacts from existing clients
• Consistent outreach & building relationships with VIP clients

(B) Opportunity Management & Conversion (30%)

• Meeting potential clients with exciting Proposals & industry updates
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the companys products
• Preparing quotations & negotiating effectively
• Review technical requirements & determine feasibility / pricing
• Supporting customers with project information
• Establishing long-term support contracts through umbrella agreements for all services

(C) Service & Delivery (30%)

• Plan event resources and coordinate preparation
• Communicate internally & externally for event planning
• Supervisor onsite delivery of event logistics
• Collaborate with our technical & subject experts across services, work in tandem with a supportive operations team

• Ability to identify and address the specific needs of each individual customer
• Highly motivated & Independent Individual with an eye for detail & analytical skills
• Prior experience in communicating with senior managers
