**Purpose of the role:**
Operates, inspects, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities to achieve most efficient results. Assures that equipment is being maintained in a safe manner. Minimizes down time through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance
**What to expect on the role:**
+ Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
+ Applies electrical code to troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical wiring / circuitry problems, install and repair electrical equipment and wiring, roughing in feeders, branch circuit cables and circuits, splice electric or communication cables/trunk lines, and trimming out (finishing) electrical devices.
+ Uses electrical test equipment, gauges and other measuring devices to test electrical equipment.

+ Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
+ Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
+ Reviews historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule.
+ Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**To be eligible for the role:**
+ Background M&E & FM knowledge
+ A4 competency by Suruhanjaya Tenaga required for this role.
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plusa minimum of 1-3 years experience as a licensed electrician. Completion a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Prior experience with DDC and EMS preferred.
+ Valid driver's license required. Master Electrician license as dictated by local electrical codes

In this role, your responsibilities will be: Align your work with division policies, goals, and strategic priorities to drive business success. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across Asia to build a reliable, high-performing supplier network. Lead sourcing plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of direct materials for Nilai, Asia Pacific, and global sites. Drive cost savings by exploring alternative sourcing options, product design improvements, and market benchmarking. Monitor supplier performance to uphold quality standards and promote continuous improvement. Qualify suppliers to support smooth product line transfers and successful new product launches. Manage the end-to-end sourcing process—from preparing quotes and evaluating offers to negotiating terms and selecting suppliers. Collaborate with Production and Materials Management teams to maintain efficient inventory levels and ensure smooth material flow. Partner with R&D and Product Engineering to align sourcing efforts with new product development and transfers. Work closely with ACT Asia Pacific manufacturing sites to consolidate pricing and maximize regional sourcing benefits. Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement goals and leverage regional cost advantages. Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and global partners to achieve shared objectives. Use company-approved tools and systems (e.g., RFQs, eSourcing) to execute sourcing activities efficiently. Negotiate supplier agreements in compliance with corporate legal standards and category-specific guidelines. Support supplier audits and quality assurance efforts alongside Nilai Operations. Actively contribute to ISO certification processes and maintain compliance with industry standards. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, including tooling status, approved supplier lists, and project timelines. Assist in preparing and managing annual CapEx and OpEx budgets, supervising expenditures against plans. Measure supplier performance using key metrics—including cost savings, delivery reliability, service quality, and payment terms—and drive improvements. Apply risk assessment techniques to ensure supplier continuity and proactively minimize supply chain disruptions. Execute annual sourcing plans aligned with broader business goals to foster continuous growth. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team success and evolving company priorities. Who You Are: You’re a proactive, results-driven sourcing professional with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently. With over 5 years of procurement experience in Asia, deep knowledge of MRP and production planning, and confidence negotiating supplier agreements while traveling across the Asia Pacific region, you’re ready to make an impact—and we want to hear from you. For This Role, You Will Need: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience negotiating sophisticated supplier contracts and agreements. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Asia Pacific region and occasionally globally. At least 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience passionate about Asia-based suppliers. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Supervise a team of Group Leader in performing their daily tasks. This includes monitor the process control, production output, product quality and materials/ equipment’s that are used for production. Assist in enforcing the company rules and regulations, work and safety regulations and implementation of ISO9001/13485/GMP requirements. Check and maintain the good housekeeping in production, tumbling, glove storage area and factory premises. Organize and allocate the machine operators to the Group Leaders in carrying out the daily tasks. Organize the rest time for Group Leader. Provide on job training to the newly recruited workers (Group Leader or Machine Operator). Record the training or guidance given in Employee Training Record. Ensure Group Leader performing their daily tasks in accordance to the written work instruction or standard operating procedure. Report to Executive or Engineer/Manager on any problem that cannot be resolved. Check and recommend the action to be taken to those worker are absent from work (either group leader or machine operators). Enforcing the company's rules and regulation. Attend the problems that cannot be resolved by the subordinates (both product quality and worker's problems). To check and verify report submitted by Group Leaders. Action is to be taken when there is in compliance or nonconformities Check QAI inspection result and take necessary action to solve the problem arises at the production lines. Ensure higher production output and with low rejection. Advise Executive @ Engineer or Manager for lines that need to be stopped for cleaning of formers. Coordinate with the engineering department for heat requirement to the lines. Check the latex, coagulant, polymer and powdering supply and change when required. Ensure chiller, chiller pump, hot water pump, air compressor, dust collector, tumbling machines, tumbling computer and other related equipment’s are in good functioning. Ensure parameters or specification for coagulant, polymer, powdering, latex, chlorination are within Report to Engineering and C&I department for any breakdown. Conducting the equipment and materials inspection as per checklist. Coordinate with Former, Tumbling and QCP personnel to ensure smooth running of operation. Report to Production Executive/Engineer or Manager on overall production on daily basis. Coordinate with Compounding Supervisor for any change or deviation on chemicals or raw material. Ensure good housekeeping and proper handling, storage and preservation of the product at all related areas. Requirements

Education: Diploma in Engineering Work Experience Preferable with working experience in glove manufacturing plant for at least 1 year. Technical And Professional Knowledge Communication and human relation skills Supervisory skill Able to read, write and speak in BM and BI Able to do some planning and organizing work.
