- Coordinate and implement Sustainable Energy Management System's framework / procedure and necessary physical setup as aligned with company carbon neutral initiative
- Define block diagram for Mechanical/Electrical system in manufacturing process
- Data analysis and define mathematical model that can improve energy performance curve
- Identify control parameters (energy data) for each Energy Accounting Centre (EAC)
- Formulate the overall energy baseline and energy saving target (overall for each EAC)
- Control the overall energy index and energy indexes for each EAC by follow up recommendation in operational guideline
- Communicate and present the finding from Energy Management System implementation
- Formulate energy improvement proposal complied with "SMART" and "BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY" framework tag along with economical factor and ROI/simple payback
- Documentation (ISO 5001, AEMAS standard or equivalent)
- Conduct internal audit for plant's Sustainable Energy Management's System within the group
Job Requirements
- Possessed at least Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Process/Manufacturing/Chemical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in manufacturing plant/related field is required for this position
- Well verse in basic of Mechanical/Electrical/Process/Manufacturing/Chemical/Environmental engineering project/task beforehand
- Acquitancy in ISO 50001 standard and AutoCAD will be an added advantage
- Critical thinking, good problem solving skill, can work both independently or teamwork

Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of ISO 50001, contributing to the design and structuring of our Energy Management System (EnMS).
- Draft and formalize procedures, processes, and templates in compliance with the standard.
- Participate in the development of an energy-conscious procurement system, taking into account energy performance criteria.
- Monitor and manage the ISO 50001 Action Plan, track progress, and conduct performance reviews.
- Contribute to energy data monitoring using digital tools analysis of KPIs.
- Facilitate awareness among teams through internal communication and training tools.
- Additional ESG-related tasks may include supporting energy-saving projects (steam, lighting, heat recovery, etc.).
- Assist with SBTi and CSRD preparation.
Requirements
Education:
- Engineering or Master's student in Energy, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, QHSE, or related fields.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Prior experience or academic exposure to ISO 50001, ISO 14001, or other management systems is highly valued.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency topics and industrial utilities (e.g. steam systems, compressed air, refrigeration) is a advantage.
- Familiarity with Sustainability standards (e.g. SBTi, GRI, CDP) or ESG reporting is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Skills in documentation drafting and process mapping (procedures, flowcharts, registers).
- Basic knowledge of ISO 50001 and energy performance indicators (EnPI, baselines, etc.).
- Ability to work with monitoring systems, meters, and energy data.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English; Ability to speak French and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Autonomy, adaptability, and sense of initiative.
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking.
- Interest in sustainable development, climate change, and industrial efficiency.
- Experience in project management or working with cross-functional teams is a bonus.

Execute unit activities, tools and fiscal activities in order to meet the contractual, technical and target of Energy Management Unit.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct energy audits for installations including water treatment plants, pump houses, and administrative buildings.
- Assess energy usage performance of Building Energy Index (BEI).
- Analyze audit data and recommend energy-saving measures for each installation.
- Monitor electricity consumption against allocated OPEX budgets.
- Track CAPEX and OPEX project expenditures.
- Prepare monthly reports on company energy performance, including implemented energy-saving measures.
- Extract and analyze data from monitoring equipment and cloud-based systems.
- Perform detailed calculations of energy-saving measures in accordance with IPMVP (International Protocol for Measurement & Verification).
- Assist in preparing scopes of work, bills of quantities, specifications, and cost estimates for procurement activities.
- Continuously explore new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and company performance.
- Monitor the Energy Saving Measures activities such as pump and motor refurbishment and replacement works, operation optimization, VFD retrofits, etc.
- Prepare the annual Energy Management Report for top management.
- Manage projects under the Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) framework.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regional staff for project execution.
- Conduct technical due diligence to assess risks and benefits of projects.
- Provide technical advice and resolve technical issues to ensure timely, safe, and compliant project delivery.
- Support planning and implementation of on-site solar PV projects for self-consumption.
- Coordinate feasibility studies including load profiling, shading analysis, and rooftop/land area assessments.
- Review PV system designs, SLDs, protection schemes, and SCADA integration.
- Supervise the installation work, monitor the project progress, review and witness the T&C.
- Ensure HSE compliance during solar installation and commissioning.
- Monitor post-commissioning performance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory approval (SEDA, ST, TNB) and internal reporting.
- Prepare ROI and payback period calculations for proposed measures.
- Ad-hoc assignments as instructed by superior or management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job Description
To ensure compliance with Local Authorities specifications and requirements at all time. Working hand-in-hand with Production & Maintenance departments for related installation & commissioning project, repair, service and upgrade of machinery & equipment within the plant to achieve optimum operation. To report any deviations to Head of Department. To ensure all documentations / plan, checklist, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and calibrations are well updated & recorded within utilities. Carry out process control, field testing, routine and special maintenance, general cleaning and ground duties in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Assist and monitoring all work being performed by third-party contractors. To execute responsibilities / duties assigned by the Manager. Adhere / Comply with company policies, rules and regulations. To oversee and manage Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTTP), Compressed Air System and Process Water. Implement and ensure department Standard Operating System (SOP) and policy compliance with ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 requirement. Responsible to provide input in Annual Operating Budget (AOP). Responsible to observe and assess department training needs. To ensure department activities compliance with Local Authorities requirements i.e. DOE,DOSH and MPPG. To assist as Food Safety Team member. Perform any other job/function that assigned by Management. Qualifications

Experienced : At least 8 years working experience in industrial with Wastewater/Ammonia/Boiler/Compressed Air System/Maintenance is required for this role. Skillset : Strong engineering (multi skilled or mechanical bias) background ideally within a process manufacturing environment. Proven experience of delivering significant capex investment projects. Strong project and stakeholder management skills with experience of navigating complex projects. Experience of hands-on commissioning.
