- You have at least 5-7 years of progressive experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership role. You can demonstrate a clear history of achieving measurable results, such as cost reduction, efficiency improvements, or enhanced service levels
- You possess a strong command of core logistics and SC planning principles
- You have proven experience working in modern logistics and supply chain management software e.g., ERP, MRP and other planning tools
- Experience with specific Malaysian customs programs, such as the LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) license, is an advantage. You understand the local regulatory requirement and can ensure compliance
- You are a leader with a demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and develop diverse teams. You excel at fostering a collaborative and high-accountability culture
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills that use data to identify trends and diagnose challenges in making sound decisions

In charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.

- Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
- Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations at our advanced manufacturing site in Johor. This site produces high-precision sub-assemblies and X-ray scanning machines. The role covers Material Planning and Purchasing, Production Planning and Scheduling, 3PL Warehouse and Inventory Management, Import/Export Compliance, Inbound and Outbound Logistics, and Customer Order Fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, process-oriented, and passionate about operational excellence. They will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with internal departments and global stakeholders to drive supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service performance.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lead the full supply chain function across planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and order fulfillment operations.
- Drive improvements in core KPIs, including inventory turnover, on-time delivery (OTD), logistics cost efficiency, schedule adherence, and order accuracy.
- Develop and implement scalable processes to support factory growth and supply chain maturity.
- Strategically manage material and production planning using MRP principles and capacity modeling to meet customer demand.
- Optimize inventory levels while balancing availability and working capital objectives.
- Oversee all import/export activities and ensure compliance with LMW regulations, Malaysian Customs, and global trade requirements.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CIPS) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving complex assemblies or capital equipment.
- Substantial exposure to at least three functional areas among planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and customer order management.
- At least 4 years in a managerial or team leadership role with proven people development capability.
- Hands-on experience in High Mix, Low Volume (HMLV) and Build-to-Order (BTO) manufacturing environments is essential.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong command of SAP (MM/SD modules), MRP fundamentals, and inventory management systems.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Power BI and Power Query/Editor is a plus.
- Solid understanding of analytics and ability to use data for decision-making and problem-solving.
