Qualifications & Requirements

• At least a SPM or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors
• Rotating through on-shift duties as assigned
• Thoroughly check all suppliers and visitors entering or exiting the premises. Issue a visitor’s pass and log their details in the registration book before granting access
• Prevent unauthorized access or trespassing, including employees working beyond designated hours, unless on duty or with prior approval
• Ensure restricted areas are accessed only by individuals with written authorization from the relevant authority
• Core Duties:
• Access Control – Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed access
• Static Control – Maintain a vigilant presence at designated security posts
• Patrols – Conduct regular rounds and inspections to identify potential security risks
• Spot Checks – Perform random spot checks to ensure compliance with security protocols
• Escort Services – Provide accompaniment for personnel or visitors when required

Purpose Statement: The Security Officer role will protect site employees and property by using Plexus provided security systems and by developing a "One Plexus" relationship with all employees.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Monitoring entry and exit movement at the premise including the parking lot.
• Ensure all safety and security equipment is in good condition, functional and safe to use.
• To report all security breaches and suspicious matters to the responsible supervisor.

Requirements ;

·    Educational Qualification, Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia(SPM) or equivalent.

·    Two(2) or three(3) years experience as the security guard or military retiree with a good service record.

·    Age requirement 25 to 40 years.

·    Good communication skills.

·    Must be physically fit and medically healthy.

·    Able to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.

·    Based in Kuala Terengganu.
