OVERVIEW
- To support Project Management Team including tracking status of deliverables and milestones, issue coordination, planning, reporting, and coordinating activities in support of quality objectives.
- Manage and direct large and small IT infrastructure or software application projects, including procurement, resources acquisition, budgeting, developing, monitoring and controlling schedules, identifying and resolving issues and risks, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Manage and drive IT project according to Project Delivery Framework, ensure correct job scope, delivering
- Projects on time, within budget, as designed that meet customer requirement.
- Work effectively with IT Operation team, end user, third party vendors, and senior management in accomplishing project objectives.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including schedules/timelines, technical document and various detailed plans for Implementation, Communication, Risk Management, Deployment and others as required.
- Oversee change requests associated with the project.
- Oversee vendor performance and procurement related to the project.
- Drive project work to completion.
- Develop and maintain status reports, decision and issue log.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in project management and proven track record delivering medium to large scale IT project.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well versed in delivery of IT projects from requirements, through design, build, test and training.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and process.
- Good observation skills and creativity.
- Good in planning making and organisational skills.

Oversee end-to-end project delivery: scheduling, construction, quality control, and safety
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams from pre-construction planning to DLP

Monitor project milestones, cost, claims, variation orders, and billing
Conduct site reviews, ensure all documentation, authority submissions, and permits are in order

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Expected (Years of) Experience
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in a project management capacity,
- Ideally previous experience gained with DHL with a comprehensive knowledge of the DHL Express network
- Good understanding of transportation, express, import and export operations and regulations
- Good understanding of project management processes and methods, preferably relevant certification (e.g. PRINCE 2)
- Well-developed analytical skills with related experience in the use of structured methodologies, modelling techniques and tools and / or willingness to adopt newtechniques. Relevant certification (Power BI or Tableau) preferred
- Excellent PC skills and IT aptitude including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products and use of modelling tools
- Demonstrable experience in the analysis, design and implementation of business and IT solutions
- Practical experience of business processanalysis, mapping and implementing process change
- Highly motivated with an ability to manage varying workloads against timescales as well as small teams of analysts and subject matter experts
- Good facilitation skills

Job Description
- Conduct engineering site surveys to plan equipment and interconnection locations, including connections to the existing electrical system
- Design Residential Solar PV systems, covering electrical, structural, and mechanical aspects
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring work quality, adherence to schedules, scope compliance, enforce best practices and safety procedures on-site
- Monitor project milestones to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Coordinate approvals and documentation for solar PV system integration
- Liaise with TNB, consulting firms, and local authorities for licensing, meter installation, and grid interconnection
- Set up remote monitoring systems, perform Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and guide customer on system monitoring check
- Monitor system performance and prepare internal handover to O&M, support O&M during Defect Liability Period (DLP) for electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing corrective actions
- Submit technical reports for subcontractor retention claims, manufacturing defects, or insurance claim (EAR/WC)
- Improve installation designs/procedures to prevent recurring faults
- Provide weekly reports on project progress, scheduling, and critical issues (e.g., delays, material shortages)
- Review and analyze tender documents (RFP, RFQ, BOQ, etc.), submit complete tender proposals on time, assist in contract negotiations upon tender award
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, legal, finance) for tender requirements
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for tenders, discuss pricing strategy with management for competitive bid submission
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants for quotations
- Act as the bridge between clients and the internal teams to understand commercial and technical need per customer requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably at least 1 year working experience in electrical installations or construction industry
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficient in Autocad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and ERP System will be an added advantage
- Customer oriented, independent, problem solving, reporting skills and good interpersonal skills
- Able to work and adhere to tight deadlines and adaptable to work in fast pace environment
- Comfortable to work on weekends and public holidays if required
- Possess valid driving license D, and able to travel

We are representing a well known U.S.-based food manufacturer in Petaling Jaya. As they are expanding, they are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage capital expenditure projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Project Engineers to ensure successful execution and handover of Capex projects to Production and Maintenance teams.
- Manage and communicate updates on the Site Master Plan and Capex projects to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Support Procurement with technical input on designs, capabilities, and specifications.
- Identify, plan, and lead projects of varying complexity using structured Project Management methodologies.
- Define team roles, responsibilities, and expectations; coordinate with Site Support, EHS, and Plant Engineering for safe and timely execution.
- Develop and implement standardized practices for Capital Project execution, ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- At least 5 years of working experience as Project Manager.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in capital finance and project management, along with solid technical engineering skills in both electrical and mechanical design.
- Good understanding in DOSH and OSHAS standards
- Preferably from Food Manufacturing experience.
- Good communication skill in English.
Working Hour: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
