We're looking for a Performance Marketing ninja who has a strong grasp of current paid marketing platforms and strategies to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This role involves analysing campaign data, aligning client objectives, assisting with media planning, and executing paid digital marketing strategies. This includes multi-channel digital media buys, lead generation, campaign performance monitoring, optimisation, and reporting.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute all performance marketing campaigns, including SEM, marketing database, email, social media, search, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Strategise omni-channel campaigns to meet client business objectives including lead generation, conversions, and awareness.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify campaign trends, formulate insights, optimise spend and performance based on the insights gathered.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for digital-led campaigns.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create web, mobile, and social integrated solutions.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field.
  • SPM (or equivalent) distinction (A) in Mathematics at minimum.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing and digital media buying is a plus.
  • Fresh grads with excellent academic record and attitude are welcomed.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEM, marketing database, email, Meta, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics & Heat Map tools).

  • Build and lead the content marketing engine - including blogs, video scripts, landing pages, and campaign messaging.
  • Shape and evolve the BJAK brand voice and positioning across platforms.
  • Manage creative production with internal teams and external agencies/freelancers.
  • Analyze data and market trends to generate insights and strategic improvements.
  • Collaborate with product, design, sales, and data teams to align marketing with business goals.
  • Own the marketing calendar, budget, and resource allocation, making ROI-driven decisions.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) efforts for new products and features.

What You Bring

  • 4-7 years of experience in marketing, with exposure to both strategic planning and execution.
  • Proven track record in performance marketing, digital strategy, and cross-functional campaign leadership.
  • Strong understanding of paid media (Facebook, Google, TikTok), SEO, content marketing, and CRM.
  • Ability to lead creative production across digital formats - video, static, and copywriting.
  • Strong data literacy- you can analyze results and translate them into clear decisions.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Based in Malaysia and open to a hybrid work setup.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in high-growth tech or fintech environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, Hotjar, etc.
  • Background in brand development, influencer partnerships, or event marketing.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior marketers or specialists.
