As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for managing delivery documentation including invoices and delivery orders in a timely manner. You will also ensure documentation storage is done properly and is accessible when required.
Responsibilities- Ensures permanent Safety and Quality behavior
- Respects regulations and internal AL rules about safety policies, operating procedures, dangerous materials, and ISO quality standards.
- Reacts spontaneously when an incident or an accident occurs, takes the first emergency actions and informs the hierarchy.
- Sensibilises customers or colleagues on safety and quality issues
- Applies road transportation regulation for the product concerned and drives carefully.
- Must not drive or be required to drive when feeling tired. If he becomes tired while driving, he shall stop. Ensures the vehicle is parked in a safe and secure location.
- Ensures bulk delivery trips according to dispatching plan
- Drives the truck according to the provided planned route (including loading/unloading points and order) to achieve the dispatching plan
- Respects maximum daily driving hours and on-duty driving hours, whichever are more stringent between country legal requirements or subsidiary requirements
- Inspects the vehicle before every trip
- Maintains the vehicle in good operating condition and ensures regular cleaning for a professional image
- Performs loading and delivery operations and applies loading/unloading procedures at plant and customer facilities
- Checks visually the good operating conditions at customer facilities
- Informs the dispatcher or carrier manager in case of malfunctions detected at customer facilities
- Completes documentation and transfers relevant information, including trip documents and delivery notes
- Signs delivery notes and obtains customer signatures
- Informs dispatcher or transport manager if customer access is impossible
- Informs dispatcher or transport manager about any useful information (e.g., vessel not fully filled at customer site, unsuitable roads, congested areas, waiting time at plant facilities)
- Hold a current and valid Class E driving license.
- Have 1-2 years of experience driving Class E vehicles.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely operate vehicles.
- Exhibit a strong customer orientation and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Forklift driving experience will be an added advantage.

1. Client Order Management:
• Upon receiving client inquiries, check the availability of manpower to assess if the order can be fulfilled within the required time frame.
• If unable to fulfill the client's order on time, communicate directly with the Sales Personnel to resolve issues.
2. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
• Manage flight and client activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods in line with company standards.

3 Quality and Delivery Planning:
• Establish a Quality Plan or Control Plan to ensure operations meet necessary standards and client expectations.
• Develop a Daily Delivery Plan and issue instructions to Operators to carry out tasks according to established timelines and quality standards.
• Address client complaints promptly and work towards a resolution.
4. Communication and Coordination:
• Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any issues that might disrupt scheduled operations.
• Assist the admin department with any inquiries related to OBC operations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain operational reports.
• Ensure all documentation related to operations, shipments, and logistics is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on operational performance and improvements.
• Record training as per the Training Procedure, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum with SPM qualification.
- Can accept shift work.
- Good in time management.
- Can communication and email correspondence in Chinese with China and Taiwan client.
- With logistic or freight forwarding experience is advantage.
