As a Lorry Driver, you will responsible to manage delivery documentations including invoices and delivery orders in a timely manner. Besides, you need to ensure documentation storage is done in a proper way and is accessible whenever required.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Ensures permanent Safety and Quality behavior
  • Respects regulations and internal AL rules about safety policies, operating procedures, dangerous materials, and ISO quality standards.
  • Reacts spontaneously when occurs an incident or an accident, takes the first emmergency actions and inform his/her hierarchy.
  • Sensibilises customers or collegues on safety and quality issues
  • Applies road transportation regulation for the product concerned and drives carefully.
  • Must not drive or be required to drive when feeling tired. If he becomes tired while driving, they shall stop. Ensures the vehicle is parked in a safe and secure location,.
  • Ensures bulk delivery trip according to dispatching plan
  • From the provided planned route (including the loading and unloading points and the order in which they must be reached) drives the truck to acheive the dispatching plan
  • Respects Maximum daily driving hours and on-duty driving hours whichever are more stringent between the country legal requirements or the Subsidiary requirements,
  • He/she must inspects his vehicle before every trip.
  • Ensures the current maintenance of the vehicle and maintains it in good operating condition.
  • Ensures a regular cleaning of the vehicle to give a good image.
  • Performs loading and deliveries operations
  • applies loading and unloading procedures at plant and customer facilities
  • check visually the good operating conditions at customer facilites.
  • informs the dispatcher or the carrier manager in case of malfunctions detected at customer facilities
  • Completes the documentation and transfers relevant information
  • Completes trip documents and delivery notes.
  • Signs the delivery notes and ask signature from the customer
  • Informs dispatcher or tranport manager if customer access are impossible
  • Informs dispatcher or transport manager about any usefull information (example : vessel not fully filled at customer site, unsuitable roads and congested areas, waiting time too long at plant facililities,.)


Are you a MATCH?

  • Hold a current and valid Class E driving license.
  • Have 1-2 years of experience driving Class E vehicles.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely operate vehicles.
  • Exhibit a strong customer orientation and commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Forklift driving experience will be an added advantage

This position is responsible for operations of specific programs that being assigned to by ensuring delivery of service levels in compliance with company and customer requirements.

  • To perform required periodic cycle count of the cargo stored in the warehouse and to report any discrepancies.

  • To provide support to warehouse senior executive in implementation of initiatives to meet warehouse's goals, strategy and policies.
  • To ensure cleanliness of overall warehouse area and to take necessary action to maintain the condition.
  • To stop and report and unsafe activity within the warehouse to the immediate superior.
  • To perform other duties as required.
  • Minimum SPM level with good results.
  • Physically fit with good eyesight.
  • Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience.
  • Able to do shift patterns.
  • Supervisory experience with a good track record.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff towards continuous improvement.

  • Check the status of material requirements from customers and arrange shipment pick-up from hub to customer
  • Prepare and generate daily and weekly inventory reports for customers
  • Ensure daily receiving system updates within the goal set (KPI) by the customer

  • Counter-check the receiving/outgoing documents information against the physical receipt by operations
  • Notify customers or suppliers of shipment discrepancies (e.g., damage, physical short incoming, P/O number discrepancy, late delivery, etc.) via email and follow up by phone
  • Attend to customers’ or suppliers’ shipment inquiries and coordinate with relevant parties when necessary

  • Ensure daily/weekly data collection to update KPI and send the KPI to customers and internal SCHENKER Management on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Attend any required weekly/monthly meetings with customers/related parties
  • Respond to customer or related parties' emails promptly
  • Minimum of 1+ year of supervisory experience in Customer Service, preferably in the Logistics industry
  • Basic Degree holder
  • Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is an advantage
  • Certification in Basic Supervision
  • Able to speak and write in English
  • Able to speak and write in Mandarin for CS dealing with customers in Mandarin-speaking countries
  • Computer literate
  • Must be open to working in the warehouse occasionally

  2. Conduct physical verification and tallying against documents, and surface inspection upon cargo receiving or delivery.
