About This Role

Ria Flex team is involved in the development and maintenance of all Ria web and mobile applications. This member will perform application analysis, design, development, unit testing, and implementation activities. They will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing new robust applications which aid in growing Ria's business footprint.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain REST based services. Write and modify complex and efficient MS SQL Server Stored Procedures and queries. Design and develop backend systems that integrate to external systems and support existing processes as well as develop and maintain web/windows applications. Prepare test data and functional specifications. Build integrations with various external services based on technical documents.

Position Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience with software development. 2+ years of experience in developing SOAP/REST based services. Proven Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures, views, functions, tables etc. Excellent skills in object-oriented design paradigms.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited university; Masters preferred. REST API documentation using Swagger, Angular, HTML5, CSS, JQuery and experience working with a financial organization.

Description of Role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development of a disruptive financial tracking Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the backend components of a SaaS-based financial tracking system.

Responsibilities

Work with the Head of Technology on knowledge handover for the Tracker Project, ensuring full understanding of front-end, backend, third-party integrations, and deployment processes. Develop and maintain both front-end (UI/UX) and backend (server, APIs, databases) components of the SaaS platform. Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks. Utilize PHP and Laravel to build scalable and secure backend services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and performance. Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in production (experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or similar DevOps tools is required). Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., financial data providers, authentication services) to enhance platform functionality. Conduct testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure software reliability. Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies. Collaborate with product managers to define software requirements and user stories. Stay updated with industry standards, compliance regulations, and emerging technologies. Continuously optimize and improve the platform to align with evolving business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). If you don’t meet this, prove your expertise through a strong portfolio and demonstrable projects. At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a PHP developer, with a track record of building, scaling, and maintaining production-grade web applications. Deep expertise in PHP frameworks (Laravel) and modern backend development practices. Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks is a strong plus. Experienced with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies—able to adapt processes for efficiency. A self-starter who anticipates challenges: You don’t just follow instructions—you analyze requirements, foresee risks, and proactively devise solutions before issues arise. Strong problem-solving mindset: You diagnose bottlenecks, debug efficiently, and implement robust fixes—not just quick patches. The Senior Software Developer (SW Hub) is responsible for developing software solutions that meet customer needs and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Senior Software Developer

to design, develop, and optimize robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. This role involves leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that align with business goals. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, coding, testing, and deployment of high-quality software applications.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure software meets performance, security, and scalability standards.

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system performance.

Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices in software engineering.

Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using agile methodologies. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

2+ years

of professional software development experience.

Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, .NET Core, React, or Angular.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and debugging skills. Skills
