Overview

As Software Developer at RoviSys, you will work on exciting software projects, design and code custom software for clients wishing to automate sharing of information between process controls and higher-level systems, or to organize and report information for use in making business decisions. You will work in a collaborative environment to solve complex client challenges with intelligent, talented and dedicated teammates.

Description of Work:

  • Design and implement industrial software solutions using the appropriate technologies, to aggregate manufacturing systems information
  • Design and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions
  • Develop quality code in accordance with established RoviSys and client standards
  • Develop, build and test frontend and backend software solutions.
  • Execute software development, deployment and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in technical workflow, SOP and documentation.
  • Work in team environment with engineers, developers and solution architects from RoviSys, partners and clients
  • Understand and adhere to ISO project execution methodology.
  • Be involved and participate in industrial application trainings by RoviSys’ senior engineers.
Success Factors
  • Programming experience in an Object-oriented Language and Web Technologies

About This Role

Ria Flex team is involved in the development and maintenance of all Ria web and mobile applications. This member will perform application analysis, design, development, unit testing, and implementation activities. They will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing new robust applications which aid in growing Ria's business footprint.

The role will encompass the responsibility of : Be a Technical Analyst and take up the development of changes to GRC Implementing and supporting vendor systems components GRC application development, implementation, and support of SIT/UAT testing, which includes: Gathering and analyzing requirements and performing accurate impact analysis of the changes requested Involvement in design for both internal and vendor changes Involvement in development, unit testing as well as system integrated testing for both internal and vendor changes Providing consultation and support in addressing production related issues and tasks and also supporting SIT/UAT activities pertaining to the changes Planning, preparing, and executing system rollout and implementations Bringing about improvisations and value additions to the system and application components Requirements Management – Engage with System Analyst & SME to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements Design & Development – Partner with Architects and Development Manager to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards; Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements Test Management – Partner with Test Manager to ensure the completion of SIT, UAT testing, regression/performance/load testing and application security testing with quality results Implementation Management – Prepare technical implementation plan across application teams; Coordinate technical implementation activities with release team and across application teams to ensure clean production cutover without issues and adequate post-implementation support Mandatory Skills

3-6 years' relevant experience in a techno functional role Platform: BWise Server: MSSQL Language: SQL, Java, SAP BI & Lumira OS: Linux/Windows Able to work independently with minimum guidance Have good communication skills to work with various teams including users Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Seniority level
