They are expanding their footprint in Malaysia and are looking for Consultants to join a newly setup technology centre in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

The Technology and Operations function comprises five teams of specialists: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work together to harness technology to support physical and digital banking services and operations, including developing, centralising and standardising technology systems and banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

Responsibilities:

• Developer for Core Banking (AS400 Channels & EAI)
• DevOps
• ALDON (automation of software deployment on AS400)
• Design, develop, and maintain applications on AS400 and Unix (Solaris) platforms
• Develop backend components and integrations using C on Unix
• Implement and support host integration with various banking channels (EAI, middleware)
• Work closely with product and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery of platform-level features
• Maintain deployment pipelines and support release automation on AS400 (if ALDON is used)

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3-5 years of experience
• Strong experience with AS400 platform
• Proficiency in C programming on Unix (preferably Solaris OS)
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) channels
• Proven expertise in host integration within banking or financial systems
• Familiarity with Core Banking systems or environments

• Join and Report to Delivery Lead and be in the UOB IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team, part of Group Risk Management.
• The role will encompass the responsibility of :
• Be a Technical Analyst and take up the development of changes to GRC
• Implementing and supporting vendor systems components
• GRC application development, implementation, and support of SIT/UAT testing, which includes:
• Gathering and analyzing requirements and performing accurate impact analysis of the changes requested
• Involvement in design for both internal and vendor changes
• Involvement in development, unit testing as well as system integrated testing for both internal and vendor changes
• Providing consultation and support in addressing production related issues and tasks and also supporting SIT/UAT activities pertaining to the changes
• Planning, preparing, and executing system rollout and implementations
• Bringing about improvisations and value additions to the system and application components
• Requirements Management – Engage with System Analyst & SME to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements

• Test Management – Partner with Test Manager to ensure the completion of SIT, UAT testing, regression/performance/load testing and application security testing with quality results
• Implementation Management – Prepare technical implementation plan across application teams; Coordinate technical implementation activities with release team and across application teams to ensure clean production cutover without issues and adequate post-implementation support

About This Role

Ria Flex team is involved in the development and maintenance of all Ria web and mobile applications. This member will perform application analysis, design, development, unit testing, and implementation activities.
