Job Description:As Product Development Engineering Manager, you would be expected to manage product development engineering team to drive testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Defines and sets priorities for the product development team, manages team performance, and plans and provides resources to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Evaluates and influences product design and supply chain requirements for appropriate manufacturing and quality processes, systems, tools, and procedures for testability and manufacturability. Provides manufacturing and quality domain expertise to lead cross-functional projects to resolve complex roadblocks throughout the entire product cycle. Leads team efforts in unitcost reductions through test time reduction and content optimization methodologies as well as other efforts to drive continuous improvement in support of operational excellence. Provides oversight in yield and quality improvement activities through data analysis, debug, rootcause, and implementation into production. Manages team resources for agility, focus, and execution efficiency to deliver outcomes aligned to organization goals. Manages the interaction across the company with business unit, design, validation, process development, fab, assembly/test, supply chain, and other groups to ensure product development achieves quality, schedule, and cost criteria. Communicates manufacturing project status and/or risk to leadership forums. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Minimum 5 years experience in Product Development Engineering / post-Si experience

Preferred Qualifications: Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Electrical and Electronics with at least 15 years experience

Strong people, stakeholder and program management

Experience/In-depth knowledge on Silicon/Product Development in technical areas of HSIOs, Analog/RF IPs and ATE test (HDMT / V93K based)

Experience in DFT knowledge for Analog / IO subsystems

Experience in Analog DV, debug and handling of test and measurement equipments / debug tools such as Logic Analyzers, high bandwidth scopes, and signal generators

Proficiency in cloud and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines). Proficiency in troubleshooting issues across the entire software stack. Hands-on experience operating large-scale multi-tenant infrastructure as a managed service. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong sense of ownership, coupled with a collaborative and transparent communication style. Self-motivated and inquisitive, always eager to learn and improve systems and processes. Experience implementing AI-driven observability and anomaly detection. Knowledge of large-scale distributed high-volume real-time systems. We are currently seeking a Engineering Manager/Project Manager to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About The Job

• Accountable for project delivery and Profit & Loss by managing all project activities and Resources while ensuring client satisfaction.

• Coordinates engineering activities in charge of design and requisitioning of an entire facility (whole project or portion of project) up to the scheduled completion, in accordance with T.EN QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc.), schedule and budget.

• Critically reviews interfaces between disciplines and/or project stakeholders.

• Deals with both technical and economical/scheduling aspects of project change orders.

• Supporting Company in meeting Corporate Strategic Objectives such as Energy Transition, LNG, Sustainability Chemistry, Hydrogen and Carbon Capture.

• Provide assistance to Tendering Department as Proposal Manager.

• Responsible and accountable for project quality, cost and schedule.

• Organize and manage a team of multi-discipline engineers, designers and subcontractors

• Fully committed to Quality and HSE Policy.

• Supports and implements Risk Management initiatives.

• Understands contract requirements and translates them into project Execution Plan and Project Procedures.

• Defines project milestones, execution objectives and strategy.

• Finalizes the list of applicable Project Procedures.

• Reviews and approves necessary Project procedures.

• Organizes and chairs project kick-off meeting and progress meetings.

• Focal point for Client interfaces.

• Ensures that the project is manned with sufficient and competent manpower resources.

• Ensures that the office facilities (IT Hardware/Systems, project office space, etc.) required for project execution are made available.

• Approves sub-contract to third parties.

• Approves project deliverables, timesheets and invoices.

• Approves Change Notices and Design Basis Deviations

• Produces weekly and monthly progress reports

• Promotes teamwork within the project task force/ team

• Prepares Project Close-Out Report

• Endorses weekly timesheets of personnel working in project task force/ team.

• Represents Technip towards clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors for technical subjects and may contribute to business development initiatives by reporting information or suggestion to Project manager.

• Ensures technical project execution within time and budget by coordinating and supervising project

engineers and engineering resources, managing risks, opportunities, changes, and monitoring compliance with Technip QHSES requirements and contractual commitments.

• Defines engineering coordination procedures, issues the basic data for design, and approves general project specifications.

• Ensures timely approval of engineering and requisitioning documents from the client, as well as timely technical and economical definition of change orders and/or claims.

• Contributes to schedule preparation, actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed.

• Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to project manager and client.

• Contributes to respect of material and man/hours budget by proposing optimized technical solutions.

• Ensures coordination of interfaces among engineering disciplines and with procurement, construction, vendors, licensors, and partners.

• Contributes to defining and coordinating the permitting process with local authorities to obtain approval on engineering documents.

About you:

• Must have : Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in performing PM capacity in medium to large size projects.

• Good interpersonal skill and communication
